The wind softly ruffled their clothes, swaying them in a similar rhythm and cadence.

Miles Sterling wrapped her cold little hand, looked down at her, and said, "Standing before you is a completely new Miles Sterling. Let him erase the pain and hate in your heart from now on."
Vanessa Sterling’s hand clenched into a fist in Miles Sterling’s warm palm, and listening to his promise, unease still lingered.
Miles Sterling tentatively held Vanessa Sterling’s lower back, pulling her closer. Her reaction was slow, her expression still vacant.
Seeing no obvious resistance from her, Miles Sterling leaned in.
Vanessa Sterling felt his warm breath on her face, snapping her back to reality. She instinctively leaned back slightly to dodge, but couldn’t avoid Miles Sterling.
The mont their lips t, Vanessa Sterling’s entire body stiffened, her mind went blank, her eyelashes quivering as she looked at the enlarged face before her, then slowly closed her eyes.
Miles Sterling kissed with caution, unprecedented tenderness.
The kiss deepened, and whether from shyness or lack of air, Vanessa Sterling’s cheeks turned crimson.
When they pulled apart, Vanessa Sterling was already out of breath.
Miles Sterling looked at her, and suddenly smiled.
Hearing Miles Sterling’s laughter, Vanessa Sterling, who was still daydreaming, suddenly lowered her head in embarrassnt.
Recalling what had happened in those few minutes, it all felt unreal to her, sothing she wouldn’t even dare to dream.
"It’s late... get so rest." With those words, Vanessa Sterling hurriedly turned to open the shop door, never daring to raise her eyes to look at Miles Sterling.
Miles Sterling stood outside the door, smiling at Vanessa Sterling as she prepared to close the door, saying, "See you tomorrow morning."
