Audrey Sutton closed her eyes and hugged her head to avoid, the imagined snowball didn’t land on her.

When she opened her eyes, she saw Shane standing in front of her with his arms spread wide.

The snowball hit Shane’s back, but his thick winter coat made it painless.

Audrey hadn’t expected such a warm gesture from him; though they were just playing around, her feelings for him grew even stronger.

No sooner did Audrey have ti to swoon, than she saw Norman Sutton approaching with another pile of snow for "revenge."

Instinctively, Audrey shrunk into Shane’s embrace. Shane protected her, watching her play and laugh, his eyes filled with a loving smile.

Norman threw the snow toward them, scattering into snowflakes in the air, falling lightly onto Audrey and Shane.

"Norman! Don’t overdo it! If Dad sees you, you’ll be in trouble again!"

Norman turned around to see Hazel Yates and imdiately put on a pitiful face: "Mom, the couple is ganging up on !"

Hazel Yates glared at him with mock anger: "You deserve it!"

Audrey quickly complained: "He bullied first, look, my hat is full of snow."

Hearing this, Shane stood behind her silently brushing the snow off her hat.

Hazel Yates just laughed and said, "All right, enough playing, co inside to wash up and have breakfast."

Fearing a scolding from their father, Norman followed Hazel Yates into the house without delay.

Laura Yates also went inside to the kitchen to help.

Audrey reached out and patted the snow off Shane’s shoulder, then suddenly looked up and gave him a smile.

Her smile left Shane montarily stunned, and as he watched her cheerfully head indoors, he finally followed behind her back inside.

The New Year holiday soon ca to an end.

Shane returned to his busy routine, leaving early and returning late, while Audrey was swept up in various exams.

Amidst the busyness, the one thing that thrilled Audrey was her math results, where she unexpectedly scored sixty-two points.

The mont she learnt her score, she was overjoyed because as long as she passed math, she felt confident about other subjects.

Having surpassed the hardest hurdle, Audrey felt a wave of relief wash over her.

Her manga’s physical book was ready, with a signing event scheduled for next weekend.

However, she hadn’t even decided on her signature yet.

Spending the afternoon in her dorm, she crafted several designs on scratch paper but was dissatisfied with each.

Calculating the ti, she went ho to make dinner. When she took it to Shane’s company, he hadn’t yet finished his eting.

These days, it’s been mostly Audrey bringing him als, so she had almost morized Shane’s schedule.

Finding his office empty, she didn’t search further. Instead, she settled at the workspace he had arranged for her and opened her computer to sort through her artwork.

It was near six o’clock when Shane finally entered, and Audrey looked up to ask, "Why so late today?"

"There were a lot of tasks," Shane said as he approached her desk, asking, "Weren’t you free this afternoon?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Then why didn’t you co to the office to do your howork? Where did you go?"

"At the dorm! I’ll go heat the food, I’m starving." With that, Audrey headed to the pantry with the lunchbox.

Returning, she saw Shane on the sofa, talking on the phone.

Seeing this, Audrey stayed silent, and quietly set the food on the coffee table.

He spoke a few more commands into the phone before hanging up, then took the chopsticks she handed him. Glancing at the dishes, he said, "Starving and yet you wait for ."

Audrey picked up the chopsticks and placed a chicken wing in his bowl, saying, "How was I to know you’d be so late today?"

"You spent the afternoon at the dorm? Playing gas?"

Audrey shook her head, biting into a chicken wing before looking up to share her joy: "My manga got published, they sent the sample copies today."

"Won’t you give one?"

Audrey hesitated and then, feeling guilty, said, "Why would you want one? You don’t read this stuff."

Actually, so parts of her manga were a bit racy, and she didn’t want him to see them; she didn’t want him to think she was so kind of pervert.

"I quite like those kinds of pictures."

Audrey paused mid-bite, then muttered, "I knew you pretended to be all proper. Who knows, maybe you spend your office hours watching adult films?"

Unashad, Shane teased her: "Well, you seem to know quite a bit yourself, huh?"

"Aren’t all you n the sa? Who knows, there might be so movies on your computer right now."

Shane’s grin deepened, "I do have so; want to watch one together later?"

"Shaless!"

Seeing her blush, Shane didn’t continue teasing her.

After dinner, Shane continued reviewing his docunts while Audrey quietly stayed busy with her own tasks beside him.

She wasn’t drawing; instead, she was thinking about her signature.

She wrote out a few she favored on paper, glanced over at Shane, then leaned over to nudge his arm.

Once Shane looked at her, she handed him the paper and smiled, "Could you help pick which one looks best?"

Shane glanced over and imdiately asked: "Your signature?"

"Yes, yes."

"These two are okay, but are you sure your hand won’t get tired if you sign sothing so intricate?"

Audrey paused. She had focused only on aesthetics, not considering that issue.

She thought for a mont and then pointed to a simpler one, asking him: "How about this one?"

Shane replied: "It’s not very distinctive."

Audrey let out a frustrated sigh, watching as he drew a paper from the side, picked up a pen from the pen holder and said, "Let design a few, then you can choose one later."

"Great!" Audrey instantly looked at him with admiration.

Even though she didn’t know how his designs would turn out, the fact that he was taking ti to help her despite being so busy made her feel very touched.

Moreover, as she watched him write her na on the paper, Audrey felt her heart race.

Her mind couldn’t help but drift back to the past, when she would write his na over and over in her notebook.

The feeling was peculiar, as if simply seeing his na brought a sense of contentnt.

Within a few minutes, he had designed five signatures for her to view.

Audrey liked each of them and, after considering various factors, chose one that was the most stylish yet simple.

Shane slowed his pace and wrote it out twice more for her to see, then handed the paper and pen to her for her to practice.
