The company arranged for everyone to eat together at a reserved restaurant, and Audrey Sutton didn’t expect to encounter Clarissa Morgan here as well.

Audrey Sutton walked into the restaurant while chatting with Vanessa Sterling, arm in arm, and bumped into Clarissa Morgan at the entrance.

It seed she brought the dance troupe students who were participating in the competition for dinner today. So young girls, around ten years old, were around her, seemingly just finished with the competition, as they still had stage makeup on their faces.

Upon seeing Clarissa Morgan, Audrey Sutton and Vanessa Sterling also caught sight of her.

Vanessa Sterling, out of politeness, went forward to greet her, "Second Aunt."

Clarissa Morgan smiled, "Vanessa, you’re here for a company dinner too?"

"Yes, the company organized it," Vanessa replied.

Clarissa Morgan smiled and nodded, her gaze turning to Audrey Sutton, "Audrey seems to get along quite well with our Vanessa."

Audrey Sutton smiled back pretentiously, saying, "Sister Morgan, have you been busy lately? It’s been a while since I last saw you."

Clarissa Morgan continued with the small talk, "Training these kids for the competition, and I have two performances myself."

Audrey Sutton suddenly changed the topic. "Sister Morgan, do you like writing letters?"

"Letters?" Clarissa Morgan asked, puzzled.

Audrey Sutton observed Clarissa Morgan’s expression and smiled, "Oh, my husband brought back a lot of beautiful envelopes and stationery from abroad last ti. I can’t use them all, so I thought if Sister Morgan might need so, I’d give you so."

Upon hearing this, Clarissa Morgan smiled and explained, "I used to in school, but not so much now."

It seed that Clarissa Morgan wasn’t sensitive to the envelopes, so the person who gave the envelope should not be her.

After exchanging pleasantries at the door, Audrey Sutton and Vanessa Sterling went upstairs together.

Clarissa Morgan watched Audrey Sutton’s back, thoughtfully took out her phone from her pocket, and dialed a number.

A man’s voice ca from the other end of the line, "Hello?"

Clarissa Morgan said, "Did you give it to her?"

The man replied, "Yes."

Clarissa Morgan asked, "Was it in an envelope?"

The man answered, "Yes."

Clarissa Morgan chuckled, "I know, she just asked about it. She seems interested in this matter, so just continue with your plan."

The man replied, "Alright."

Clarissa Morgan added, "Rember, the truth isn’t important, as long as she believes it."

...

In the afternoon, the book signing was going on past three o’clock, and Audrey Sutton felt incredibly sleepy.

But seeing the long line of fans waiting for the signing, who seed even more exhausted, she perked up and faced them with a smile.

She agreed to write a blessing for a girl whose birthday was today after signing her na. While she was focused on writing, she didn’t notice the commotion among the crowd.

She finished the blessing, handed the book to the girl in front, and smiled, "Happy Birthday."

The girl was overjoyed, clutching the book to her chest, seemingly full of words she wanted to share with Audrey Sutton, but didn’t dare delay due to the long queue behind her. Before leaving, she said, "Audrey, we’ll always support you!"

Finally, she made a cheering gesture to Audrey Sutton.

Audrey Sutton smiled, feeling the happiest that her work was loved and appreciated by so many people.

She reached for the next book, when suddenly she heard screams from the crowd, and everyone’s attention shifted to the back. Curious, she craned her neck to look.

This glance revealed a man holding a bouquet of roses, walking towards her.

Audrey Sutton instantly woke up, seeing Shane Warner walking towards her under countless gazes, unhurriedly under the guidance of the staff, reaching her table.

Audrey Sutton stood up and accepted the roses he handed over, "Why did you co?"

Shane Warner answered casually, "Just finished, ca to see you."

Audrey Sutton looked at the fragrant bouquet of roses in her hand, "Surprising, you even knew to buy flowers."

Shane Warner replied, "Isn’t today a day to give flowers?"

Audrey Sutton pursed her lips, thinking he probably wasn’t so thoughtful, likely reminded by Faye Xavier. But it’s nice that he bought them. In fact, this was the first ti he ever gave her flowers, and in such a setting, in front of so many people – it was indeed spreading love generously.

The fans waiting for the signing also didn’t rush Audrey Sutton, instead pulling out their phones to capture the mont between the two, apparently finding it more fascinating than autographs.

Audrey Sutton gave the bouquet to the staff, placing it on the table beside her, then sat down and said, "You find a place to sit. I’m off work at five."

Shane Warner glanced at her as she continued signing, and softly asked, "Anything you want to eat?"

Audrey Sutton looked up at him, smiling, and said, "A bit thirsty."

Although she didn’t specify, Shane Warner knew exactly what she ant.

Audrey Sutton finished speaking, then took the next book and continued signing.

"Boom—" suddenly, two round chocolates fell beside her hand. She paused for a mont, quickly reaching out to catch one about to roll off the table, then looked towards Shane Warner’s direction as he turned and headed outside.

Amid the envious voices in the crowd, Audrey Sutton smiled, unwrapped the chocolate, and popped it into her mouth, then resud signing.

Roses and chocolate.

These sowhat cliché items during holidays seed like symbols of love, lacking novelty, yet akin to marriage licenses in a wedding – a romance without flowers and chocolate always feels incomplete.

On such holidays, a girl’s satisfaction might just be a rose flower you bought for a dozen bucks.

Ten minutes later, Shane Warner returned, placing the milk tea she often drank by her side.

"Want to sign for a while?"

Audrey Sutton rolled her eyes at him, "You go rest backstage, and I’ll join you when I’m done here."

Although her signature was his design, and he could replicate it perfectly, there’s no way to fake it openly in front of fans.

But fans might actually want his autograph.

After all, Shane Warner’s autograph could be sold at a good price.

The signing continued until half past five, after which Audrey Sutton stretched her sore wrist and went backstage to find Shane Warner.

She saw him sitting on a sofa in the rest area, flipping through a comic book, which, if she wasn’t mistaken, was the one she was signing today.
