After returning ho, Flora opened the door and saw that handso artist tending to the light bulb that had been broken in the living room for a while.
Flora usually didn’t spend much ti in the living room, and since the light in the hallway barely illuminated the living room, she had been ignoring the broken bulb.

Audrey Sutton, lounging on the living room sofa, frowned and sat up when she saw the photo from Flora.

The man beside her had a mask on, making it impossible to see his face.

Audrey Sutton: "You have to ask if I agree or not, I’m not just a piece of luggage."
He chuckled saying, "I think you’d be glad to, after all, you love checking up on ."
Audrey Sutton: "I couldn’t care less to check, couldn’t care less to bother you."
Shane Warner: "So people just love concocting stories in their heads."
Chatting sporadically, neither wanted to end the call.
Close to ten-thirty, Shane Warner urged her to go to bed but didn’t allow her to end the call.
Audrey Sutton turned off the lights, lay down in bed, her phone placed by the pillow, the call duration steadily increasing in seconds, yet neither speaking.
Seemingly through such a thod, it felt as if the other person was beside you, offering a slight feeling of comfort and security.
The following morning, the first thing Audrey Sutton did upon waking was to check her phone, intending to see if the call was still ongoing. Picking up the phone, she found it had run out of battery and shut itself off, unsure at what ti the call had ended.
Connecting the phone to the charger, Audrey Sutton rose and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
Upon turning on her phone, she saw both Flora and Shane Warner had ssaged her.
Shane Warner texted around seven in the morning, saying good morning and reminding her to have a healthy breakfast.
Flora texted just ten minutes ago, asking Audrey Sutton to accompany her to an audition this morning. She ntioned how Lucian Quinn recomnded a friend involved in a radio drama to her yesterday, who asked her to try out her voice today.
