Audrey Sutton wasn’t quite sure what Clarissa Morgan was up to, but now Vanessa Sterling was also involved. Audrey advised Vanessa, "Vanessa, you have to be a little cautious with her."

Vanessa nodded, "I’ll head back then."

Audrey opened her mouth, initially wanting to suggest that she and Vanessa visit a cafe, but seeing Vanessa’s slightly anxious and eager-to-leave expression, Audrey figured that Miles Sterling was strict with Vanessa, and she might have snuck out.

Even though she found the sibling relationship a bit strange, feeling that Miles Sterling was overly strict with Vanessa even as a brother, she decided not to pry.

Afraid that Vanessa would get scolded if she returned late, Audrey swallowed her words and just waved her hand at Vanessa, reminding her to be careful on the way.

After returning to her dorm, Audrey opened the package.

Inside was a pink photo album, not particularly thick. The cover was filled with signatures from different people, much like a class recording at graduation.

Among the myriad of nas on a whole page, Audrey quickly spotted Shane Warner’s na.

The handwriting suggested it was written by him personally.

Beside his na was Clarissa’s delicate writing.

Evidently, Shane had signed first, then that shaless Clarissa wrote beside him.

Even just seeing their nas together made Audrey uncomfortable.

Flipping open the album, the first group photo she rembered Shane showing her was taken during his college days with so friends, with Clarissa also pictured, all posing properly, without overly intimate gestures.

Most of the photos had been shown to her by Shane before, all large group photos.

Besides those, there were photos of Shane and Clarissa in so stage performances together.

Audrey had heard that Shane once partnered with Clarissa for a performance, though she had never seen it.

Clarissa’s album had many photos docunting performances, which seed to be so sort of play. While there were more people on stage, the focus seed solely on Shane and Clarissa, with everyone else blurred out.

Shane was dressed in a dieval European noble costu, looking every bit the prince from a fairy tale, captivating and impossible to look away from. Audrey seed to understand a bit why a noble, beautiful, and talented woman like Clarissa was persistently pursuing Shane.

anwhile, Clarissa wore a luxurious white dress with a veil, resembling the final scene of a play where the lead couple gets married.

The final ending pose was of them kissing, and although she knew it must have been shot with careful angles, it was still blinding. Audrey stared at it, dazed for a second, before quickly turning the page.

There was another set of photos showing Clarissa dancing gracefully in a white ballet costu on stage, while Shane elegantly played a black piano.

No surprise that rumors about them swirled constantly during school. Even now, looking at these photos, they seed an exceptionally well-matched couple of talents.

Audrey suddenly felt a pang of gloom and lancholy, hating that she didn’t grow up in the sa era as Shane, missing out on a legendary school life and youthful mories with him...

Clarissa’s intention in sending her this album was evident: to flaunt how much she had experienced by Shane’s side.

Audrey closed the album, snorting coldly in her heart.

Past mories, no matter how beautiful, are just the past. Moreover, Shane never loved Clarissa; those so-called mories were just Clarissa’s treasured recollections. Shane probably never cared for them from the start.

Really, what’s there to flaunt?

Clearly, she’s the one known to be the rightful Third Young Mistress of The Warner. If there’s anyone to flaunt, it should be Audrey.

This Clarissa, evidently unwilling to behave, shouldn’t bla Audrey for not showing leniency.

...

In the afternoon after school, while waiting for Shane Warner outside the dorm, Audrey first awaited the arrival of Clarissa Morgan.

Clarissa didn’t drive her red Maserati to school but instead changed to a slightly more understated white BMW, parked by the roadside, stepped out, and waved to Audrey, "Sister Audrey."

Seeing Clarissa’s warm smile, Audrey also feigned a smile, watching as Clarissa walked over in high heels, "Sister Clarissa, is it you?"

Smiling, Clarissa approached her, "Did you receive the package?"

Audrey guessed Clarissa wanted to see her flustered, but she refused to give her that satisfaction, especially since the photos weren’t enough to perturb her. "Thanks, Sister Clarissa, for such a precious gift. I like it very much."

Clarissa replied, "As long as you like it. I mainly thought since you’re much younger than Shane, you’ve never seen what his school life was like, so I sent you these photos to make up for that regret."

Smiling, Audrey said, "Thank you, Sister Clarissa. However, as the saying goes, courtesy demands reciprocity. I can’t just accept such a precious gift from you without giving sothing back, so I also sent so photos to Mr. Sterling. After all, he hasn’t seen how Sister Clarissa is in private."

At this, Clarissa’s expression changed, the smile on her face disappearing quickly. She frowned harshly and questioned Audrey, "What did you send him?!"

Still smiling, Audrey said, "It’s a surprise. Sister Clarissa should find out when you get ho."

Feeling sothing was wrong, Clarissa no longer felt like chatting with Audrey and imdiately turned, got in her car, and drove off.

Audrey smugly watched Clarissa’s departing figure with so satisfaction.

If she didn’t show Clarissa a thing or two, Clarissa would really think Audrey was a pushover.

Just as Clarissa’s car turned around, she saw the black Jeep parked on the roadside. Audrey smiled and quickly ran over, opened the door, and got in.

Seeing the snacks Shane bought for her on the seat filled her heart with happiness and satisfaction.

"Why are you smiling?" Shane glanced at her, his lips curling up slightly.

Audrey picked up the snack box, saying, "There’s sothing delicious here."

Shane: "I an earlier, what were you two talking about? You seed so happy."

Audrey: "I won’t tell you."

Shane: "Could you and she have any secrets?"

Audrey took a bite of the soft, sweet mochi and said, "It’s sothing between us won; you don’t need to ask."

Seeing she didn’t seem upset, Shane didn’t press further, instead looking at her with eyes full of affection and indulgence.
