Audrey Sutton looked at the phone held by Brian Sue in front of her, wondering if these rich kids’ flirting tactics had beco so aggressive now?

Not to ntion her current married status, even if she were single, after hearing Seraphina Vaughn’s introduction, she had no interest in contacting Brian Sue.

But Brian Sue was acting quite gentlemanly and polite at the mont, so Audrey Sutton refused a bit more tactfully: "Sorry, Mr. Sue, my phone is with my husband. The dress doesn’t have pockets, so I gave it to him when I got off the car."

Brian Sue was slightly taken aback, then smiled and said, "Then Miss Sutton, leave your number. I’ll add you later."

Audrey Sutton feigned a difficult smile and said, "Mr. Sue, there’s sothing you don’t know. My husband may seem generous in public, but he’s quite possessive. He likes to check my phone, and he doesn’t allow to add other n, so... I’m sorry, Mr. Sue."

The smile on Brian Sue’s face deepened: "Oh, I see. But Miss Sutton, you might have misunderstood. I didn’t an anything else, just wanted to make friends, ordinary friends."

Audrey Sutton replied with a faint smile: "My husband wouldn’t listen to my explanations."

Brian Sue: "That’s truly a pity."

"Brian, your big brother is looking for you."

"Alright, I’ll be right there."

After watching Brian Sue walk away, Audrey Sutton asked Seraphina Vaughn, "Who was that person?"

Seraphina Vaughn looked in the direction Audrey Sutton was pointing and said, "That’s Brian Sue’s half-brother, Bryce Sue. He’s the only sowhat normal person in the Sue Family. At least there haven’t been any scandals about his chaotic private life, and Old Master Sue values him more."

Audrey Sutton nodded thoughtfully, finding the na sowhat familiar, possibly a friend of her third brother.

Seraphina Vaughn: "Oh, right, there’s a rumor that the only daughter of the Swift Family is currently dating Bryce Sue."

"Swift Family?"

"The one who was married to Vincent Warner before."

Audrey Sutton was stunned, surprised and astonished: "Chloe Swift?"

Seraphina Vaughn nodded: "Yes, that’s her. But it hasn’t been made public yet. It doesn’t seem as simple as a romantic relationship; each family has their own intentions."

After Chloe Swift’s divorce from Vincent Warner, Audrey Sutton hadn’t heard much about Chloe Swift for quite so ti, only occasionally seeing her share many travel photos on social dia.

She felt that after the divorce, Chloe Swift courageously faced everything and began her new life.

Audrey Sutton had a fairly good impression of Chloe, feeling she was just a bit sentintal but at least kind-hearted.

Now that Chloe was entangled with the complex Sue Family, Audrey Sutton wasn’t sure if it was good or bad, but she hoped Chloe would find her own happiness.

Bryce Sue exchanged a few words with Brian Sue, then watched Brian Sue turn and leave, while Bryce walked toward Shane Warner and Arthur Sutton’s direction.

The three seed to have known each other long, and with similar ages, the scene looked quite harmonious.

Audrey Sutton observed from afar and noticed that Bryce’s mannerisms bore so resemblance to Vincent Warner.

She wondered if Chloe’s entanglent with Bryce was related to this similarity.

While Audrey Sutton was watching them, her eyes suddenly t Shane Warner’s. Monts later, she saw Shane beckon her over.

Audrey Sutton paused in confusion, then walked over with a bit of perplexity.

Shane Warner nonchalantly reached out to bring Audrey Sutton by his side, leaned down, and asked her, "Are you cold?"

Audrey Sutton shook her head: "It’s not cold indoors."

Shane reached out to tidy Audrey Sutton’s hair that had fallen onto her shoulders, whispering, "What did that guy want from you just now?"

"You saw it? He wanted to add on WhatsApp."

"Did you add him?"

Audrey Sutton smiled and shook her head: "I told him my phone was with you, so I didn’t add him."

Shane smiled with satisfaction: "Alright, go have fun."

Audrey Sutton complained: "Did you call over just for that?"

Shane patted her head: "Mainly to ask if you were cold."

Audrey Sutton rolled her eyes at Shane, then looked at the wine glass by Shane’s side and reminded him, "Drink less."

Shane nodded, gently patting her waist: "I’m not drinking, go enjoy yourself."

As Audrey Sutton got up to return to Seraphina Vaughn, she couldn’t help but glance at Bryce a couple more tis.

Listening to Bryce’s conversation with her third brother, Audrey Sutton recalled that Bryce and Vincent sounded very similar, almost identical if you didn’t look at their faces.

Could it be that Chloe sees Bryce as a stand-in for Vincent?

As Audrey Sutton was heading back, she looked around. Clarissa Morgan and Quentin Sterling were nowhere to be seen, having vanished without a trace.

Thinking about having seen Vanessa earlier, Audrey Sutton took out her phone to ssage Vanessa, inviting her over to play, but got no response.

...

On the second floor of the castle, Miles Sterling led Vanessa from a relatively secluded corridor on the other side.

This ti, they ca down a different route from when they went up; upon reaching the ground floor, they imdiately saw the restroom sign not far away.

Miles fished out a cigarette box and lighter from his pocket, and while taking out a cigarette, said to Vanessa, "I’m going to the restroom. Wait here."

Vanessa nodded obediently, still uncertain why Miles had brought her to such an event.

Her instincts told her nothing good was going to happen, so she’d been on alert the whole way. Seeing Clarissa Morgan and Quentin Sterling in the hall earlier only heightened her uneasy premonition.

Watching Miles disappear around the corner, Vanessa glanced left and right, noticing a path leading to the outdoor pool.

Because of the cold weather, nobody was keen to go to the pool, so there were few people passing by.

Vanessa moved slightly closer to the corridor entrance, intending to stand at the vent to get so air.

As she moved over, she vaguely heard a familiar voice.

She peered over cautiously, seeing a man and a woman standing under the curved arcade, engaged in conversation.

The angle wasn’t ideal, but Vanessa recognized the woman’s profile as Clarissa, while the man’s body was mostly obscured by a wall, though his voice was unmistakably Quentin’s.

Vanessa found herself inexplicably rooted to the spot, stealthily eavesdropping on their conversation.

Whatever they had said before, Clarissa was now saying, "Quentin, there’s no chance for us. I’ve tried to accept you again, but the mory of that night when you were with Vanessa just won’t leave my mind."

Quentin: "That night was a misunderstanding. I don’t know how she got into my room, but I didn’t do anything with her. I’ve always seen her as my junior, with no other intentions. I just felt sorry for her situation in the Sterling Family and wanted to help her a bit. I didn’t expect her to do sothing like that. You really don’t have to worry about it, Clarissa. I’ll have nothing more to do with her in the future."
