The line was quite long, but each batch had a lot of people, so after calculating the numbers, Audrey Sutton estimated that their group could ride the coaster by the third batch.

Jasper Jones was well-traveled, and wherever he was, boredom was never an issue. He always had a story to tell that matched the occasion, so the ten-plus minutes of waiting went by quickly.

The roller coaster seats allowed four people per row. Audrey had a little sche in mind, and deliberately sat in the outermost seat, with Vanessa Sterling next to her, ensuring that Jasper naturally sat beside Vanessa.

"Keep your back tight against the seat, don’t lower your head later, if you’re scared, grip this handle tightly," Jasper considerately instructed both won.

Audrey wasn’t afraid of such thrilling rides, while Vanessa was visibly nervous.

At first, the ascent was slow, the wind blowing lightly with scenic surroundings, quite comfortable.

When the coaster reached its highest point, it paused, signaling the impending plunge, and screams ensued before it started.

Audrey enjoyed the thrill, turning to Vanessa with a smile, "Don’t be scared, yelling out loud as you dive down feels exhilarating and relaxing."

Vanessa nodded with a soft smile, while Audrey silently held her hand, offering encouragent.

Jasper glanced at the hands clasped between the two won and then at Vanessa’s tightly clenched fist next to him.

He hesitantly moved his hand closer to Vanessa, but as the coaster suddenly moved, he withdrew his hand.

The coaster dove down an almost ninety-degree slope, and Audrey and Vanessa scread throughout, invigorated and joyful. Jasper watched the smile on Vanessa’s face, feeling as though sunshine had breached his heart.

After disembarking, it seed Vanessa released so internal tension, chatting with Audrey about her experience, speaking a bit more than before.

After enjoying several more thrilling attractions, they arrived at the dreamlike Candy Castle in the park.

Audrey pulled Vanessa for pictures, while Jasper beca their caraman.

Feeling tired, Audrey found a dessert shop.

After entering, Vanessa went to the restroom, while Audrey flipped through the nu and asked Jasper, "I see Vanessa’s in a good mood today, do you have any plans?"

Jasper was taken aback, glancing at Vanessa’s back as she walked towards the restroom. Usually eloquent, he seed slightly stunned, asking Audrey, "You an confess? Isn’t that a bit sudden?"

Audrey replied, "It’s not easy for you guys to et, consider it as probing Vanessa’s thoughts. Vanessa ntioned yesterday she doesn’t have many requirents for a partner, just good treatnt will do, so I think you stand a chance."

Contemplatively, Jasper said, "But I haven’t prepared anything, confessing without even a bouquet seems rather careless."

Audrey laughed, "I’ve calculated everything for you. Isn’t there a Ferris wheel? I believe girls generally like such confession settings. Also, a setting with just the two of you is way more appealing than a street candlelit flower confession. Girls don’t need grand gestures, just sincerity."

Jasper still seed unprepared, "I’m actually worried, what if Vanessa rejects ?"

Audrey countered, "It’s best to find out early for both of you. Worst case, if she really rejects you, you won’t have lingering feelings and you can pursue new love, right?"

Jasper gave Audrey a look, "You talk easy from your position."

Audrey chuckled awkwardly, "I’m anxious for you. Vanessa’s clueless about your affection; telling her, even if she rejects you then, she might reconsider afterward. She hasn’t even thought about you; you don’t even have the chance to get rejected, understand?"

Jasper sighed, "I’ll try. I’ll think about what to say later."

Seeing Jasper growing anxious and nervous, Audrey smiled, watching Vanessa return from the restroom, ending their conversation.

As Jasper decided to confess, he beca unusually quiet.

Normally engaging in conversation, he now appeared anxious, sowhat distracted.

Audrey didn’t want Jasper to suffer long, so after dessert, she suggested riding the Ferris wheel.

Another queue awaited, as they neared the front, Audrey suddenly said, "I feel a bit dizzy, I’ll sit down and rest, you two go ahead."

Concerned, Vanessa asked, "What’s wrong, Audrey?"

Audrey shook her head, "Nothing serious, probably anemia, resting should be fine, you should go, it’s your turn."

To ease Vanessa’s mind, Audrey stood by the railing, watched them board, and then went to the exit, hoping for good news from them.

She thought Miles Sterling’s managent over Vanessa was because Vanessa hadn’t truly beco independent in life, or due to longstanding habits persisting unchanged.

If Vanessa t a man she liked and settled down, Miles wouldn’t have any reason to interfere with her life, allowing Vanessa to truly break free from him.

Since Jasper was soone worth entrusting, if Vanessa agreed, it might lead to a good relationship.

The Ferris wheel ascended slowly, with Vanessa and Jasper alone in a cabin. She was visibly less comfortable without Audrey’s company.

Sitting across from each other, Vanessa kept looking out the window. She seed to realize Jasper was watching her but didn’t confirm it, afraid of awkward eye contact.

Jasper pressed his lips and broke the silence in the cabin, softly saying, "Vanessa... the last ti we t, I’m not sure if I offended you. If I did, I’m sorry."

Startled, Vanessa turned to Jasper, awkwardly saying, "I should apologize; blocking you was because..."

Vanessa hesitated, seemingly uncertain how to explain to Jasper.

Jasper smiled, "It’s alright, it’s a chance to reintroduce ourselves."

Vanessa’s eyes widened at Jasper, as they t eyes. Jasper continued, "Actually, when I invited you to the cinema, I had my reasons."

"Hmm?"

Jasper maintained his gaze on Vanessa, lips pressed again, saying, "Audrey arranged that day for us. I intended to confess but couldn’t muster the courage then. I don’t want to wait and risk missing out. Vanessa, I like you, would you... consider dating ?"
