Franklin didn’t imdiately go to see the child; instead, he walked to the bedside, looking at the almost exhausted Laura Yates, covered in sweat.
Seeing a girl essentially risking her life to have his child, Franklin suddenly felt a pang of emotion, his voice choked in his throat unable to speak.
He just reached out to hold Laura’s hand, bending his head to continuously kiss it.
Laura feebly moved her fingers, turning her head to look at Franklin, revealing a pale yet gratified smile.
The oldest and second child’s births also ant that the future for the third and fourth would be challenging.
In the past, when mom was nagging about the oldest and second, they could still stand aside and gloat, but now the tables have turned, mom’s "care" is truly evenly distributed.
Scott Sutton has a wide circle of contacts, surrounded by plenty of attractive young won.
So when faced with mom’s urging about marriage, the fourth would say, "I just don’t want to find soone right now. When I want to get married, I have many choices around, mom, you don’t have to worry about . Third brother is always at the company, busy from morning till night, surrounded by several male assistants. If you have suitable candidates, pay attention to him first."
The fourth’s "generous" statent earned a roll of the eyes from the third.
But this assertion was quite persuasive, as the third is now the main target of mom’s marriage urgencies.
After all, as the fourth said, Arthur Sutton indeed has little interaction with young won, his focus appears solely on work, dull and wooden in matters of love. Even if he encounters a girl he likes, he probably wouldn’t know how to pursue her.
So mom believes that blind dates are the third’s only option, forcing the third to go on business trips whenever possible.
Laura’s family couldn’t be relied upon, and Franklin’s job was relatively unique, so Laura moved into The Suttons’ ho during her late pregnancy. Now with the child’s birth, usually, it’s the family’s servants and Hazel Yates helping to care for them.
Franklin now leaves work early whenever he can, eager to be ho with his wife and child as much as possible.
With Shane Warner busy at the end of the year, and Stephen Sutton occupied with exams during this period.
So, Audrey Sutton and Phoebe King, for the hustle and bustle, moved back to The Suttons with their children, planning to stay until the New Year.
The spacious living room now has soft ocean mats laid down, allowing Anna and Sumr, who have started to learn crawling, to play freely on it.
When the children are in a good mood, ti seems peaceful, but once they cry, it’s quite the ensemble.
Compared to Anna, Sumr is much quieter. Among the three children, Sumr is the least troubleso. Phoebe often says the child takes after her father’s temperant, appearing very calm from a young age.
Anna is roughly half a month older than Sumr, but Anna is much more active. Whenever Norman Sutton is downstairs playing gas, Anna always likes to cause trouble.
Naturally not knowing how to play, but she loves grabbing the ga controllers and stuffing them into her mouth, slobbering everywhere.
Norman doesn’t dare hit or scold, so he reluctantly hides his "treasures" away to stop these mischievous kids from ssing with them.
Anna used to sleep during the day, but now that she loves to play, she’s finally sleeping soundly at night.
The children’s routines are quite similar; co six or seven in the morning, they’re all awake, and downstairs resembles an opened kindergarten, with children causing their fuss and adults engaged in their chats.
Scott, who loves to sleep in, has been coerced by the children to adjust his schedule, waking up annoyed at seven, and lazing around in bed till eight before heading downstairs.
"Mom, my birthday is in a few days." Norman stood upstairs, speaking to Hazel who was feeding Anna rice paste downstairs.
Hazel looked up at him seemingly having forgotten this son’s birthday, "Your birthday, huh? Whatever birthday gift you want, ask your dad to buy it."
Norman: "I want to hold a birthday party at ho."
Hazel didn’t hesitate to say, "Hold it elsewhere. You have so many friends; if they co to our ho, they’d disturb the children."
Norman furrowed his eyebrows, "When Audrey had her birthday, inviting friends was considered lively, but when I invite mine, it’s not allowed. You’re biased!"
Hazel fed the last spoonful of rice paste from the bowl, wiped Anna’s mouth, and with a smile encouraged, "Anna did great, finished half the bowl!"
Seeing himself ignored, Norman shouted discontentedly, "Mom!"
Hazel put down the bowl in her hand, then turned to look at Norman, "What do you plan to do?"
Upon hearing Hazel enquire, Norman imdiately ran downstairs, huddling near Hazel, "I want to host a music party."
Hazel frowned, seemingly finding it noisy just by hearing it, but before she spoke, Phoebe excitedly chid in, "Music party? Sounds great, host a private music festival."
Norman: "Exactly what I’m planning, and mom, you just help make so snacks. Maybe set up a few grills for skewers? It won’t be troubleso."
Seeing Phoebe quite fond of the idea, Hazel nodded in agreent.
Seeing Hazel nodded, Norman ran upstairs happily, changed clothes, and went out; asked where he was going, he said heading out to arrange band matters with his buddies.
He actually first drove to The Yates Family estate before eting his buddies.
With Hazel busy looking after her grandson, Miss Holloway has taken over matters at the estate.
Hazel is pleased with Miss Holloway, her young apprentice, and Miss Holloway herself is diligent and ambitious, taking great care of the trendous opportunity presented by Hazel’s guidance right after graduation.
Knowing Zachary Wilson is studying abroad becoming increasingly impressive, she feels she too needs to beco excellent and cannot squander her ti; she must make herself as outstanding as he.
"Young Master, you’ve co again?"
The workers in the yard greeted Norman.
Norman glanced around and asked, "Where’s that girl?"
"Miss Holloway? She ca over early in the morning and should be in her studio now."
Getting the answer, Norman imdiately ran towards Lana Holloway’s studio.
Hastily he barged in without any courtesy, without knocking.
Lana Holloway glanced at him, lowered her head to continue stitching the embroidered dress.
Norman leaned beside her, picking up a piece of fabric Lana had repaired, inspecting it and asked, "Are you free next week?"
Lana Holloway replied, not particularly kindly, "Why?"
Norman: "My mom wants you to co over for dinner."
Lana Holloway’s stitching paused; she raised her head skeptically towards him and asked, "Why doesn’t the master tell herself? Why have you co to relay?"
Norman raised his eyebrows and said, "She’s busy looking after the grandson; how could she have the ti to co personally? She asked to convey the ssage as a mark of respect to you, just say if you’re coming."
