Norman Sutton once again confird that he might not really be his mother’s biological child.

After watching Hazel Yates leave the house, he lazily walked downstairs, sat on the floor mat, and played with Anna’s glowing robot toy, even more enthusiastically than Anna.

Anna sat beside him, also watching with great interest.

Sumr crawled clumsily over to Anna, her bottom sticking out, and reached out to grab the little bear tail on Anna’s coat.

"Ding-dong——"

The doorbell rang. Audrey Sutton and the others huddled on the couch, clearly too lazy to get up, and their eyes almost simultaneously turned to Norman Sutton.

Aunt Sue, who was organizing the tableware in the dining room, imdiately headed towards the door upon hearing the doorbell.

Norman Sutton also guessed it was most likely Lana Holloway, so he quickly dropped the robot toy in his hand, got up, and ran to the door, saying to Aunt Sue who was about to open it, "Aunt Sue, you go ahead and do what you’re doing. I’ll get it."

Norman Sutton went to the door and watched Lana Holloway, shivering in the cold outside, through the display screen next to the door.

He deliberately waited for a while. When Lana Holloway reached out and pressed the doorbell for the second ti, he finally pushed the door open.

Blocking the doorway, he first looked Lana Holloway up and down, then said, "What brings you here?"

Lana Holloway glanced at him and answered, "My ntor asked over for a al."

"Ca empty-handed?"

Lana Holloway felt a little awkward, looking past Norman Sutton into the house.

Every ti she ca, she ca empty-handed, never having the habit of bringing gifts. Although her ntor wouldn’t mind such things, having Norman point it out made her feel that indeed she was a bit thoughtless to co empty-handed.

Lana Holloway hesitated and said, "...Is there a supermarket nearby? I could buy so fruit and co back."

Norman Sutton looked at her with slight annoyance, stepped aside to let her in, and said, "Eighty percent of the fruit in Rivia is supplied by my family. Do you think we’re short on fruit?"

"Then..."

"Then what? Get in, even if you’re not cold, I am."

Phoebe King whispered to Audrey Sutton, "He only acts all tough in front of Lana."

Audrey Sutton chuckled and said, "I told him he likes Lana, and he still won’t admit it."

Laura Yates: "So boys are just awkward, clearly like soone but still purposely bully them."

Phoebe King said with a mischievous smile, "I’ll sort him out."

With that, Phoebe King waved over to Lana, who had just co in, and said, "Lana, co sit over here."

Lana Holloway changed her shoes and walked over, giving everyone an awkward yet polite smile.

Audrey Sutton pushed the snack and nut plate on the table closer to Lana, saying with a smile, "Help yourself to whatever you like. No need to be polite here."

Lana Holloway sat on the couch timidly, nodding with a dry smile.

Phoebe King glanced at Norman Sutton, who ca over a mont later, and asked Lana while shelling sunflower seeds, "Lana, you seem to be about the sa age as Audrey?"

Lana Holloway nodded, "Yeah, I’m in the sa year as Audrey."

"So, do you have a boyfriend?" asked Phoebe King bluntly.

With this question, not only was Lana stunned, but Norman, who was reaching for nuts, was also taken aback.

Norman Sutton looked up at Phoebe King. He heard Lana’s slightly bashful response, "...Not yet."

Phoebe King, seemingly ignorant of Norman’s look, eagerly said to Lana, "I have a cousin, turning twenty-six soon, also an artist, mainly does oil paintings, quite handso. He’s been constantly bugging to introduce a girlfriend. He’s coming over for an art exhibit in a few days. How about I introduce you two?"

Before Lana could say a word, Norman Sutton said irritably, "Phoebe, aren’t you taking your cousin seriously? What kind of person are you introducing to him?"

Phoebe King glared at Norman Sutton, "What’s that supposed to an? Lana is pretty, talented, and so sensible. My cousin likes girls like her."

Lana didn’t take Norman Sutton’s malicious banter to heart, but she knew Phoebe King’s family was anything but ordinary, and naturally, her relatives were not just average folks. Lana wisely declined, "...Thank you, Sister Phoebe, but my aunt has already introduced to soone, and we’ve arranged to et tonight."

Hearing this, the pistachios in Norman Sutton’s hand suddenly lost their appeal. He turned his head to frown at Lana, silently questioning why she hadn’t ntioned such an important thing to him.

Seeing Norman Sutton’s reaction, everyone couldn’t help but want to laugh, and Phoebe King said, "A date is just one option. Having more choices isn’t a bad thing. Besides, you can pick the best one, right? I have a photo of my cousin on my phone. He’s half French, really handso, and has a nice personality. Six, fetch my phone, will you?"

Norman Sutton lazily sat back on the couch, "What’s there to see? Don’t all foreigners look the sa? With her looks, is she worried she won’t get married?"

Phoebe King snorted, stood up to fetch her phone, found the photo of her cousin, and handed it to Lana, saying, "He grew up in the country, pretty easygoing. How about you exchange contacts first? You’re both into painting, should have plenty to talk about."

Lana Holloway appeared palpably shy, with a dry laugh, unsure of how to respond, while Norman Sutton just sat next to her, intently watching to see if Lana was genuinely interested.

"It’s just making a friend. Sotis feelings depend on fate. I’m not saying you have to agree to be with him. Just go to your date tonight as planned. Then you can compare, pick soone you feel suits you."

Lana Holloway scratched her head and said, "Won’t that be inappropriate..."

Phoebe King: "What’s inappropriate about it? Do you think your date is only seeing you? Isn’t he seeing several girls and then choosing one he likes? You shouldn’t feel guilty. Co on, send your QR code, I’ll have my cousin add you."

Seeing Lana hesitate but begin reaching for her phone, Norman Sutton frowned displeased, snatching the phone she just took out, saying, "Have you already forgotten the pain once it’s healed? Are you in such a rush to get married?"

Seeing Norman Sutton’s reaction, Phoebe King smiled with satisfaction, saying, "I say, Six, why are you so nervous? Didn’t you say you and Lana aren’t that close? Why do you care about her dating?"

Norman Sutton replied confidently, "She’s now the designated successor of Yates Couture by my mom. If she marries a guy with ulterior motives, who knows what chaos it’ll cause for The Suttons! So why shouldn’t I care about her dating choices?"
