Now reading: Chapter 760: Apology from Mr. Warner, Your Wife is Running Away Again!, a Romance novel by The Beginning of Prosperity.

Evan Sutton maintained a gentlemanly polite smile, looking slightly flattered, and said casually, "I didn’t expect Young Master Linton to know , it should be an honor for Sutton instead."

"Not at all, Fifth Master Sutton, please don’t tease . The Linton family’s industry is nothing compared to The Suttons’, my father has always wanted to collaborate with The Suttons but has never found the opportunity."

Grace Sue, hearing the conversation between the two, realized Evan Sutton’s identity.

She vaguely rembered that it was the Fifth Master Sutton who was involved with Hannah Sue at the ti.

But she thought it must be a coincidence; Hannah couldn’t possibly be here to watch a movie with the Fifth Master Sutton.

Even though Hannah once claid she was dating Evan Sutton, those words were definitely her fabrications. How could a well-mannered and privileged man like Evan Sutton have dealings with soone like Hannah?

"Hello Mr. Sutton, I am a daughter of the Sue Family, Grace Sue."

Seeing Grace extending her hand, Evan glanced at it but didn’t extend his own hand in return.

Evan, usually courteous to others, was uncharacteristically rude this ti.

Grace awkwardly withdrew her hand, while Hannah stood beside her, smiling secretly with satisfaction.

The Young Master from the Linton family said, "Fifth Master, did you co alone? Why not join us? It’s rare to run into you, and I’d like to discuss if there’s any possibility for collaboration between our families."

Evan chuckled lightly, "The family affairs are managed by my third brother, talking to won’t be of any use. However, my third brother greatly values the character of collaborators, so Young Master Linton’s words to the young lady earlier were sowhat inappropriate. Could you perhaps apologize to this young lady?"

Both Grace and Hannah were taken aback upon hearing this, and even Hannah felt sowhat surprised.

Grace remarked to Evan, "Why should we? You don’t know the whole story, how dare you ask us to apologize without knowing right or wrong? Besides, she’s my sister, so it’s a family matter that doesn’t require your ddling!"

Evan replied, "Whatever your relationship is, that’s not for to interfere with. I don’t know how it started, but I only heard you and the gentleman beside you say harsh words to a young lady. Regardless, you should apologize, shouldn’t you?"

Grace wanted to say more, but the man beside her stopped her, saying, "Fifth Master Sutton is right, there was indeed so misunderstanding just now, and everyone was quite emotional. We are family and shouldn’t make a scene in front of so many people."

Saying this, the man turned to Hannah and said, "I’m sorry for the angry words earlier, don’t take them to heart."

Grace seed frustrated with the man’s lack of backbone and, after hearing his apology, angrily shook off his hand and stord toward the cinema exit in her high heels.

"Gracie!" The man anxiously wanted to chase after her but hesitated as if afraid of missing such an opportunity, paused his steps, and smiled at Evan, "Fifth Master, could you please put in a good word for the Linton family with your third brother?"

"We’ll see," Evan replied perfunctorily, then looked at Hannah and said, "They’re starting to check tickets, aren’t you going?"

Hannah stood there in a daze, then returned to her senses, smiling happily and taking two steps towards Evan, but suddenly rembered sothing and turned around.

Evan watched as she picked up her soda and popcorn, which she had left on the counter during the dispute, and ran back towards him.

The two queued to enter the ticket-checking channel, and it was only then that the man belatedly realized that Evan’s date was Hannah Sue, and that the harsh words he’d said to her were unlikely to be forgiven just by apologizing.

This is a big ss.

He turned his head to the cinema entrance and saw that Grace was nowhere to be found.

He knew Grace’s temper well, and it wouldn’t be easy to coax her back soon.

Moreover, the conflict between the two Sue sisters could be described as irreconcilable.

And now that Hannah was walking with a Sutton family young master, and it seed Evan was quite protective of Hannah.

If he hadn’t wanted to stand up for Grace today, he wouldn’t have provoked Hannah, indirectly offending Fifth Master Sutton.

Looks like he’d better not associate with Grace anymore.

Sitting in the cinema, Hannah kept shoving popcorn into her mouth, hardly pausing at all.

Evan couldn’t help but ask, "Did you skip lunch?"

Hannah paused and responded, "I ate, I’m actually quite full now, but I can’t stop myself when I have food in my hand. You should try so; the popcorn here is delicious."

Evan glanced over but didn’t reach for the popcorn, his gaze returning to the still blank screen where the movie had yet to start, and asked lightly, "If I hadn’t stepped in, would the two of you really have started fighting?"

Evan suddenly changed the topic, and Hannah took a mont to respond, pausing before answering, "She started first, I couldn’t just let her hit , could I? If it weren’t for that man, she wouldn’t have been able to beat ."

Hearing this, Hannah’s tone held a hint of pride, making Evan chuckle helplessly as he teased, "Then perhaps I shouldn’t have interfered; I missed watching a good show."

Hannah let out a small "hmph," took a sip of her soda, and said, "She likes to pick fights with , and when she can’t win verbally, she starts using her fists. So when I fight back, she can’t beat either, then she runs to her parents and reverses the situation to complain about . It’s always like this."

Evan remarked, "Perhaps her goal is just to complain about you."

Hannah said sowhat helplessly, "Then what can I do about it? If I don’t talk back or fight back, she’ll take more and more liberties. The less I pay attention to her, the more relentless she becos. She goes to university in Rivia and returns ho every day, so I mostly live at school now, and I don’t want to go ho even during holidays."

Evan nodded thoughtfully, "Indeed, you’re about to take college entrance exams, so don’t let these issues affect you."

Hannah replied, "Yeah, I’m just thinking of applying to universities elsewhere, leaving Rivia behind. Anyway, I’m just an extra at ho."

Listening to Hannah speak the last sentence in such a light-hearted tone, Evan inexplicably felt a pang of pity.

When he learned that he didn’t share the Sutton bloodline, he also felt at one ti like he was an extra mber of the family.

But even without blood ties, no one ever treated him like an outsider, quickly dispelling that notion.

After eting Hannah, comparing her situation with his, he felt increasingly fortunate to live in such a happy family.

As for Hannah, there was not much he could do to help, just ensure that the child doesn’t go astray because of family issues.
