After Audrey Sutton went out, she didn’t go to ask Norman Sutton about it, but instead found Faye Xavier and told him to restrain his girlfriend and stop flirting around.

With Audrey’s warning, Faye didn’t dare to let Candy help with anything anymore, imdiately behaving and daring not to ss around.

However, Norman himself got interested, starting to hang out with Faye and Luc, always mingling with won.

Audrey and the others looked at them as if hating iron for not becoming steel, eventually giving up on managing Norman Sutton. After all, they also felt that marrying Lana to the current Six was truly too unfair to her.

At least before Six changed his bad habits, Audrey didn’t wish for Lana to agree to be with Norman Sutton.

A week later.

Stopping and starting along the way, the group followed the pre-arranged travel route, gradually moving towards the southwest.

It rained consecutively for two days, so they canceled a campsite along the way, and everyone stayed in the car on the road.

Seraphina Vaughn had arranged the itinerary well, with different scenery to see at each destination reached, so everyone maintained a sense of novelty along the way.

Plus, with so many people, they could play gas in the car every day and still not tire of it for half a month.

Once confird pregnant, Audrey Sutton found herself less free than before.

Shane took care of her eating, let her play, and even dictated her bedti.

So she began to slightly regret inviting Shane to co along.

Yet having Shane by her side still made her feel very secure.

She felt she didn’t have to worry about anything, as Shane would arrange everything smoothly for her.

After spending another night in the car, the next morning, Audrey climbed out of bed, leaned against the window, and watched the scenery outside.

Outside was no longer the monotonous highway scenery; it seed they were driving along a national road, almost reaching their first pre-planned destination in the west.

The mountains on both sides of the road were no longer covered by dense forests but appeared barren and quiet.

With a clear sky and blue heavens, the lake mirrored the sky, resembling a blue gem embedded in the mountainous terrain.

"Since you’re awake, get up and freshen up; it’s ti to get off the car and have breakfast soon."

Shane’s voice ca from behind, prompting Audrey to withdraw her gaze and turn to ask Shane, "Are we there yet?"

Shane: "In about ten minutes, by the ti you finish freshening up, we’ll be there."

Audrey glanced around and asked, "Where’s our son?"

Shane gestured with his chin towards the bed, and Audrey followed his direction, leaning over to see Anna sitting on the carpet by the bed, playing with building blocks.

Audrey smiled, pinched Anna’s cheek and said, "You got up pretty early, keeping your dad from sleeping in."

Anna didn’t understand and just grinned foolishly at Audrey.

Audrey murmured as she got out of bed, "Loves to smile when young, better not learn from your dad when grown up."

Shane, who was unknowingly targeted, glared at Audrey: "Hurry and freshen up, don’t dawdle."

Despite Shane urging beside her, Audrey only ca down after freshening up and changing clothes about half an hour later.

By then, all the cars had arrived at the campsite, a vast grassland.

After experiencing two days of rain on the road, everyone basked in the sun on the grass upon seeing such a sunny day.

Under the slightly glaring sunlight, Audrey squinted and spotted her few friends gathered by a picnic mat; she headed over, looked around, and asked, "Where’s Brother Seraphina? Not up yet?"

Flora Lane, cracking sunflower seeds, said, "Said she played mahjong all night, just finished breakfast and went back to the car to sleep."

"All night? With whom?"

Phoebe King: "Who else? Luc, Faye, and their gang."

At the ntion of Faye and Luc, Audrey imdiately thought of those won and slightly frowned in disdain, "Why is Brother Seraphina mingling with them."

Flora chuckled, "No one else to play cards with her, only those people could stay up all night with her."

Phoebe King: "They’re okay; an all-nighter at mahjong, Old Man Bishop probably pulled an all-nighter at work."

Audrey: "What? Mr. Bishop worked overnight? Didn’t I hear that there’s not much work lately? Besides, Faye and Luc are earning salaries; why should they play mahjong while Mr. Bishop works alone?"

Phoebe King: "Old Man Bishop is just destined for hard work. Even when free, he looks for sothing to do, and Faye and Luc weren’t polite, probably left all their tasks to Old Man Bishop."

Audrey felt unjust for Julian Bishop and said, "I should get your Brother Shane to properly adjust their salaries. Those two, all they know is eating, drinking, womanizing, and gambling; it’s because they earn too much, so they have the money to fool around."

Flora Lane: "That’s their personal issue; even without money, they’d probably still look for rich won. Unlike my Lucian, he’s different from them."

Barry Barrett: "I think those two just need discipline."

While gossiping away, Shane’s voice ca from the food truck: "Audrey, have you had breakfast yet?"

Audrey imdiately turned and answered, "Oh! I’m coming right over!"

Answering back, Audrey hurriedly got up from the mat, hearing Phoebe King joke, "Brother Shane probably thinks you’re more of a handful than Anna."

Audrey dusted off her pants and grumbled, "That’s him being concerned; he likes to manage everything."

After grumbling, Audrey walked over to Shane with a bright smile.

After chatting around this topic for a while, Flora’s gaze landed on two people pitching a tent elsewhere, curiously saying, "Aren’t those people always following us? I rember seeing that tent at the last camping."

Everyone followed Flora’s direction and glanced over, with Barry Barrett responding, "The last ti was two days ago; how could they appear here? These tents all look the sa, maybe they just bought the sa style online."

Flora mumbled in puzzlent, "Really? How co that man in a black polo shirt pitching a tent looks familiar?"

Barry Barrett: "You used to stare at handso guys, since when did you start watching mature n?"

Laura Yates pointed to a black SUV parked not far away, "I think I’ve seen that car before, though there are quite a few of the sa model."

Ultimately, they concluded it was just a coincidence, but Vanessa Sterling, who had stayed mostly quiet, started feeling uneasy.

Because she vaguely rembered that these people seed to have indeed been following them, but after careful observation, there were no familiar faces.

Moreover, although Miles hadn’t appeared again during this ti, she always felt he was nearby.

She hoped it was just her imagination...
