Lana couldn’t help but chuckle at Norman Sutton’s frustrated expression and teased, "I never thought I’d hear a ’sorry’ from Young Master Sutton in my lifeti."

Seeing Lana smiling and not upset, Norman Sutton felt a sense of relief, but he still grumbled with a stern face, "I’m trying to correct myself as you suggested, but all you do is mock ."

"Don’t you think you’re much more likable this way?"

Norman Sutton snorted, "Whether I’m likable or not should be up to you to say, shouldn’t it? You won’t tell , so how am I supposed to know what you like?"

Lana smiled with pursed lips, stood up, and said, "We’ll see how you perform next. But I must admit, the dumplings with sauce are indeed delicious. I’m full, so I’m going outside now."

"I’ll go with you!" Norman Sutton hastily stuffed a dumpling into his mouth and jogged to catch up with Lana as they got off the bus.

On the other side of the picnic blanket, the children were tirelessly playing with their toys, while Audrey Sutton chatted about daily life with her two sisters-in-law.

"Hey, hey, hey, look, sothing’s going on between Six and Lana."

Audrey followed Phoebe King’s pointing finger and saw Lana and Norman Sutton walking side by side towards the grass.

Laura Yates: "Is it done?"

Phoebe King: "Did Six finally bloom like a cactus?"

Audrey: "Let’s call Lana over and ask."

The three of them focused their gaze on Lana, who was walking towards them. Audrey called out, "Lana!"

When Lana looked over, Audrey waved at her.

Lana didn’t hesitate and imdiately ran away from Norman Sutton.

Norman Sutton frowned as he stood there, knowing he’d definitely be teased by those people if he went over. So, he didn’t want to go.

But then he thought if he didn’t go, Lana would have to face it alone, and as a man, he couldn’t let Lana handle this alone.

With that thought, Norman Sutton lifted his foot and followed Lana over.

Audrey pulled Lana to sit down on the picnic blanket. Seeing that Norman Sutton had also followed, she frowned and asked, "Why did you follow us when us girls are chatting?"

Norman Sutton confidently retorted, "What secretive things are you going to talk about that I can’t hear?"

Seeing Norman Sutton deliver himself on a silver platter, Audrey bluntly said, "Weren’t you circling around that Candy not long ago? Why are you clinging to our Lana today? Is Candy not sweet anymore?"

Norman Sutton raised his hand and slapped Audrey on the back of the head, gritting his teeth, "Stop bringing up things that shouldn’t be ntioned."

Lana looked up, her tone gentle, and said to Norman Sutton, "Go have fun, I’ll chat with Audrey and the others here."

Norman Sutton hesitated for a mont before saying, "I’ll go do a puzzle with my fourth brother, but rember to co find later."

Seeing Lana nod, Norman Sutton turned and walked away.

Phoebe King imdiately asked, "Lana, aren’t you mad at him? He was still playing cards with Candy last night, you know."

Lana narrated everything that happened last night, and after listening, Laura Yates said, "If Six can really change his temper, he’s actually a pretty good guy."

Phoebe King: "We’ve actually talked about this with Mom. Mom really likes you a lot but feels Six is still a bit childish and immature. She’s worried you’ll suffer if you marry him, so she hasn’t dared to bring this up with you."

Audrey: "Yeah, Lana, you can’t let him taste the sweetness too quickly. Use this opportunity to correct his bad habits."

Everyone gave Lana advice, and she listened patiently.

In her heart, though, she felt that discussing marriage with Norman Sutton was probably still a long way off. She’d wait to see how long he could maintain this kind of attitude.

Barry Barrett slept until eleven, washed up, and ca straight over to have lunch.

She didn’t know what she had missed during her few hours of sleep. When she arrived, she saw Simon Sue holding Anna and teaching her to call him "godfather" persistently.

Shane Warner sat nearby, his face dark, glaring at Simon Sue, clearly displeased with this "godfather," like he was worried his son would be enticed away by this newfound "godfather."

Anna didn’t seem to mind being with strangers. As long as soone played with him, he wouldn’t cry and was continuously giggling as Simon Sue teased him.

Shane Warner, the biological father, sat beside them, looking like he felt neglected by his son.

Audrey Sutton was more than happy, as long as soone watched over her son, so she could enjoy her al in peace.

Seraphina Vaughn, having played cards all night, didn’t get up to eat lunch and only lazily ca down from the RV around two in the afternoon.

She headed straight to the food truck to find sothing to eat and found Flora Lane there.

"Old Flora, did you just get up too?"

Flora Lane stirred a small pot on the induction stove with a spoon and said to Seraphina Vaughn, "I’m a mother now, you know. I don’t have the luxury of sleeping until two in the afternoon like you do."

"I slept until my head hurt." Seraphina Vaughn leaned over to look into the pot, "What are you cooking? Slls pretty nice."

Flora Lane pushed Seraphina Vaughn away with a hand, "It’s nutritious porridge for my daughter, not for you."

Seraphina Vaughn: "Now that you ntion it, I really want a bowl. I’ve been craving sothing warm."

Flora Lane asked her, "Are you on your period or sothing? Don’t tell you slept in because of a stomach ache?"

Seraphina Vaughn: "Does not being on my period an I can’t drink your porridge? You better serve a bowl later."

After saying that, Seraphina Vaughn walked over to the table full of snacks. As she was filling her plate with snacks, she suddenly paused, her expression turning serious.

Recalling what Flora Lane had just said, she suddenly realized that her period was usually around these days and quite punctual. Calculating from last month, it seed she was already three or four days late...

That’s when it hit her that after that night, she hadn’t thought about taking the pill at all.

Could she be... pregnant?

It can’t be, right? The chances shouldn’t be that high, should they?

But her period was indeed delayed for several days, and if Flora Lane hadn’t ntioned it, she wouldn’t have realized this problem.

Realizing this possibility, Seraphina Vaughn panicked, put down her plate, and leaned close to Flora Lane, whispering, "Old Flora, I need to ask you sothing."

Flora Lane: "Hmm?"

Seraphina Vaughn glanced around, ensuring no one was nearby, and leaned closer to Flora Lane’s ear to ask, "So... how many tis did it take with your husband before you got pregnant?"
