Audrey Sutton thought that when most people saw her make this move, they would imdiately notice her red nails, or at the very least, comnt on her newly curled hair.

But Shane was different. When she made the move, his gaze wasn’t above her neck but instead on the bathrobe, which had slightly opened at the neckline with her movent. He said, "You’re not wearing a bra."

Audrey’s face flushed red, and she hurriedly covered her neckline with her hand, turning away in embarrassnt and annoyance: "Blind man! Ti to sleep!"

After saying that, she turned and lay on the bed, curling up on one side of the large bed with her own blanket.

Shane was puzzled. He could see clearly, so why was she calling him blind?

He turned off the TV, walked to the vacant side of the large bed, lay down, reached out, and pressed the switch on the bedside lamp to turn off the room lights.

In the darkness, with her back to him, Audrey’s eyes were wide open, looking at the window, and then glancing in his direction.

"Didn’t you buy a rabbit?"

Shane paused in his action of arranging the quilt: "We’re already in bed. I’ll give it to you tomorrow."

"I want to hold it while I sleep."

Thinking about her habit of holding sothing when she sleeps, Shane turned on the room’s light again, got out of bed, retrieved the rabbit from the cabinet, and tossed it to her.

Audrey stretched her hand out from under the blanket and picked up the rabbit he threw next to her hand.

Unexpectedly, he thought of buying sothing for her while out shopping, and it was exactly to her liking.

He returned to the bedside and lay down, turning off the light once again.

Audrey didn’t even have ti to take a good look at the little rabbit, so she couldn’t help but ask him out of curiosity: "With so many stuffed toys in the store, why did you choose this one?"

He said, "It reminded of you."

Audrey frowned discontentedly and said, "It’s male."

In the darkness, Shane’s brows furrowed too. He couldn’t help but think of the rabbit in her comic, which was also male...

Certain perplexing images appeared in his mind again, and he didn’t respond to Audrey’s words.

He heard rustling sounds behind him, which quickly quieted down.

Shane turned his head to glance at her. She had turned her back to him again, leaving him with only the back of her head.

He hoped that tonight she would just cuddle the rabbit and not co over to "practice martial arts" with him.

Thinking back, he recalled that in the store full of diverse stuffed toys, he had imdiately been drawn to this rabbit.

Cute face, but with an expression that made one want to punch it. In certain ways, it was indeed quite like her.

Moreover, he always thought she was like a quirky little rabbit, so he didn’t hesitate much and decided to buy it.

Audrey had slept all afternoon, so she couldn’t fall asleep now.

She lay in bed with her eyes closed for a while, but didn’t feel tired at all.

She turned over to face him, and he was lying there with his eyes closed.

"Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" She couldn’t help but ask softly.

With his eyes closed, he replied, "There’s a eting in the morning."

"What ti?"

"Eight."

"... Oh." She had originally wanted to chat with him, but seeing that he had to get up early, she quietly shut her mouth.

She reached out to grab her phone from the bedside cabinet, only to hear him ask, "Can’t sleep?"

"... Yeah, I slept in the afternoon."

He imdiately asked, "Who did you sleep with?"

"With..." Audrey started to say but then quickly corrected herself, "Just myself!"

"Why did you suddenly co over to find ? Missed ?"

Audrey naturally wouldn’t admit that, defending herself by saying, "Who misses you? I’m just on holiday with nothing to do, so I ca over to hang out."

"What about General?"

"My fourth brother is taking care of him."

Shane opened his eyes and looked at her in the dim light of the room, asking, "When did you see with her?"

While playing with the rabbit in her hand, Audrey replied, "I saw you when you ca back to the hotel at noon."

"So you cried from noon till evening?"

Audrey kicked him lightly through the quilt and said, "Can you please stop talking about this!"

She already knew how embarrassing she was!

Shane: "In the future, think things through. If you can’t figure sothing out, just ask. Don’t make up stories in your head like you’re writing a novel."

Audrey mumbled, "How was I supposed to know she’s your cousin?"

"Well, try using the bubble tea in your head to think. If you’d co over and asked when you saw us at noon, would you have cried till night?"

"What if she really was your mistress when I ca over to ask?"

Shane didn’t quite understand her logic and said, "So, even if you saw cheating, you planned to pretend you didn’t know?"

Audrey wasn’t sure what he ant by asking this. Did he consider cheating because she was so forgiving?

Thinking of this, she imdiately said, "Nonsense, if you dare to cheat, I have plenty of ways to deal with you!"

"Your tactic is crying?"

Audrey kicked him twice more: "I told you to stop ntioning this! Aren’t you annoyed?!"

Shane chuckled. He thought this tease could last him a year.

The conversation shifted to her childhood.

Growing up with many brothers at ho and spending her childhood at her grandfather’s ranch, her childhood could be described as colorful and vibrant.

He just listened with a smile as she eagerly recounted her childhood stories, without interrupting much or ntioning his own childhood.

He didn’t feel there’s much to ntion; nothing interesting seed to have happened, and he didn’t even feel like he had a childhood.

Struggles, rivalry, snatching...

These accompanied him as he grew up.

Before they knew it, it was past two o’clock. She yawned, got up to use the bathroom, then snuggled back into bed, tossing and turning a few tis before finally falling asleep.

When Shane looked at her, he didn’t even notice the gentle smile in his own eyes.

She was not only a little rabbit but also his little sun. With her around, his heart seed to naturally feel at ease.

They had been apart more than together in the past half month, and to be honest, he missed her quite a bit.

Every day, they would just chat a little over the phone, but she typically didn’t send him voice ssages, so he couldn’t even hear her voice.

Last night, he went through her social dia posts and saved a few of her selfies on his phone.

Unexpectedly, today she showed up looking for him.

It indeed surprised and delighted him. When he found her and saw her crying like that, his heart ached trendously.

Normally, even when she was sulking, he felt bad. Seeing her cry made him feel even more blocked up inside.

He didn’t know what she was thinking while she cried alone on the street but knew she must have been very sad, confused, and helpless.

She might have already considered divorce in her mind.

From the mont she married him, he had never thought about divorce.

Now thinking about it suddenly upset him because he felt like he was already sowhat reliant on her.
