Audrey Sutton heard this and chuckled, saying, "The two of them have been bickering all their lives but never separated. My grandma loves to travel and explore, but my grandpa just enjoys staying on the island, so my grandma calls him old-fashioned."

Shane Warner said with a hint of implication, "Bickering can also be a form of love."

Audrey hadn’t even considered herself, nodding in agreent, "That’s true. My mom and dad bicker a lot too, but I really envy their love. My dad spoils my mom so much."

Looking at the longing in her eyes, Shane couldn’t help but think of their future. Perhaps they could also pass on such an enviable love.

The boat set sail, and under the afternoon sun, she held onto the brim of her straw hat to prevent it from being blown away by the wind, standing by the deck’s railing. Turning back, she said to Shane, "Hurry up and take so photos of ."

"What’s there to take pictures of?" he said, but had already taken out his phone from his pocket.

He centered the fra on her and pressed the shutter button...

He took dozens of photos, and back in the cabin, she selected so from his phone while Shane leaned back in his seat for a quick nap.

Once Audrey finished choosing the photos and was about to return the phone, she noticed he was asleep. Quietly, she slipped the phone into her bag, edited the photos a bit with her apps, adjusted the filters, and posted them on social dia.

A few hours passed unnoticed.

When the boat docked at Lyren Isle, it was a little past six in the evening.

Here, it doesn’t get dark until eight or nine, and at this mont, you could see the orange sunset perfectly as they arrived.

The sea breeze was cool, and the scenery soothing.

After playing a match during his sumr break, Norman Sutton returned to the island for the vacation and had been back for about a month.

As Audrey and Shane walked out of the dock, they saw Norman waiting for them with a disgruntled expression.

Audrey waved at him, "Six, co help with the luggage."

Norman glanced at Shane behind Audrey and said, "Why did you marry soone if not to help you with the luggage?"

"You could help him with it!"

"Barely got married, and you’re already taking his side?!"

Despite his words, Norman walked over and took the suitcase from Audrey’s hand.

Shane was carrying a suitcase in one hand and her backpack in the other, yet seed to handle it easily.

Still, Audrey quickly took the backpack from Shane to carry it herself, helping to lighten his load.

Norman glared at her in mock annoyance, "Look at you, so useless!"

Every corner of the island is picturesque, like an island surrounded by flowers, with climbing roses being the most common, scaling the walls of houses and adding a touch of elegance and beauty.

Being here, you can’t help but slow down, free from outside disturbances, leaving all distractions behind, just simply taking in everything in front of you.

Along the way, every view outside the window is worth capturing.

In less than ten minutes, they parked in front of a white three-story villa.

"We’re here." Audrey joyfully got out of the car and pointed to the farthest window on the third floor of the villa, introducing it to Shane, "That’s my room."

Shane nodded and opened the trunk to get the luggage, "Let’s move the stuff in first."

Each carrying a suitcase, Shane and Norman made their way inside, with Audrey just carrying a small backpack and following behind them.

"Where’s grandpa?" Audrey asked, noticing no one had co out to greet them.

Norman replied, "That old man is busy, still fishing and hasn’t co back, doesn’t have ti for you."

"And grandma?"

"Went out to find grandpa."

Audrey: "..."

She thought the grandparents would be eagerly waiting for her husband to visit, but it seems they hadn’t given it much thought.

After placing the luggage by the door, Norman told them, "You two handle making dinner, I’m off next door to play gas with Mr. Hart, call when dinner’s ready!"

Watching Norman hurry downstairs, Audrey complained, "They definitely tasked you with making dinner for us!"

But Norman had already disappeared down the stairs.

Turning to see Shane, Audrey hesitated and said, "I’ll go check the kitchen and see what we have."

Shane surveyed the room, spotting many traces of her childhood.

The light pink walls were covered with childish crayon drawings, clearly showing her love for drawing since she was young.

The room was dotted with fluffy stuffed animals, exuding a lively and girlish vibe.

Shane noticed nurous newspapers and financial magazines on the bookshelf, feeling puzzled as she wasn’t knowledgeable in this area. Shouldn’t her shelves be filled with her romance novels?

Puzzled, Shane randomly picked up a magazine and opened it, coincidentally finding it was an edition he also owned.

Moreover, it’s the one he had been interviewed for, with his picture right on the first page.

"Thud, thud, thud—" The sound of her running up the stairs reached him before she did, "We might need to go buy so groceries, there’s not enough in the fridge..."

No sooner had she finished speaking, reaching the doorway, Audrey saw Shane standing by her bookshelf, holding an open magazine that had his picture on the page.

Seeing the photo she’d looked at countless tis, Audrey’s face flushed red. Hastily, she snatched the magazine away and scolded, "Why are you rummaging through my stuff again?!"

Shane saw her flustered reaction and figured there must be sothing secretive about the book, lowering his head slightly as he asked, "You’re interested in finance too?"

Audrey gulped and made an excuse, "...These belong to my third brother. Grandma probably placed them here while tidying up."

Seeing Shane still eyeing her bookshelf, Audrey quickly changed the subject, "It’s getting late, let’s go shopping for groceries."

As they reached the front door, they saw two elderly people cheerfully approaching.

"Grandpa! Grandma!"

The initially angry-looking old lady imdiately broke into a warm smile when she saw Audrey, "Audrey! Did you miss grandma?"

Audrey greeted her with a sweet smile, "Of course, I missed your cooking!"

Grandma bead, then noticed Shane standing at the door, and greeted him, "Stephen, you’re here too? I thought you couldn’t co because of training?"

Audrey quickly explained, "Grandma, he’s not my brother!"

Grandma looked Shane over again, "Silly , it’s Arthur!"

Grandpa grunted and teased grandma, "Are you getting senile? Can’t recognize your own grandson?"

Audrey then walked over to Shane, linking her arm with his and introducing him, "Grandpa, Grandma, this is my husband, Shane Warner, you can just call him Shane."
