Seraphina Vaughn couldn’t outdo Julian Bishop; if she could carry him, she wouldn’t bother talking and would simply throw him out.
Julian Bishop just stood by the door, and Seraphina Vaughn had no choice but to ignore him, slowly digging out clothes from her suitcase and heading into the bathroom to wash up.
It probably only took about ten minutes; after changing clothes and freshening up, Seraphina Vaughn felt a bit more awake.
She walked to the door with her little backpack, completely ignoring Julian Bishop’s presence, and leaned on the cabinet at the entrance, changing her shoes by the door.
Julian Bishop pushed the door open and ca out, standing by the room door, and said softly, "Today was quite quick."
Seraphina Vaughn snorted coldly without saying anything, put on her shoes, and walked straight out of the room.
Downstairs, the car was already waiting at the hotel entrance.
Only after sitting in the passenger seat did Seraphina Vaughn realize it was a car rented by Julian Bishop, and the person waiting by the car was not their driver.
The man handed the car keys to Julian Bishop, and Julian Bishop got into the driver’s seat.
Seraphina Vaughn didn’t bother to move to the back seat, fastened her seatbelt, and asked, looking at the still-dark sky, "Where to?"
Julian Bishop slowly started the car and said, "You’ll know when we get there. It’ll probably take an hour; you can take a nap."
Seraphina Vaughn thought Julian Bishop had enough money and wouldn’t take her to so remote place to sell her, so she didn’t ask more.
The car smoothly drove on the highway, with a slight sway within the cabin, and drowsiness hit again.
Seraphina Vaughn reclined the seat a little, wrapped herself tightly in her coat, and closed her eyes.
When she woke up again, the sky outside was slightly blue, and the surroundings had changed from skyscrapers to mountainous forests.
The car body was heading upward, indicating they were driving up a mountain road.
Seraphina Vaughn adjusted her seat to sit upright and looked out the window, seeing the vast ocean in the distance, a quiet town laid out on the plains below the mountain, which gave a sense of tranquility just by looking at it.
"Crestfall Mountain?"
Julian Bishop heard Seraphina Vaughn’s question, turned to look at her, and asked, "Have you been here?"
Seraphina Vaughn shook her head, "This mountain isn’t high, not challenging; I used to climb high-altitude mountains."
Julian Bishop chuckled lightly and said, "When the baby is born, I’ll climb the mountains with you."
Just listening to this, Seraphina Vaughn felt a mont of warmth, but soon snapped back and frowned at him, "Who’s going climbing with you? In three or four days, you can scram!"
"Seems like you’re rested and spirited enough to be feisty."
Seraphina Vaughn gave him an annoyed glare and asked impatiently, "How much longer until we arrive?"
"Almost there." Julian Bishop glanced at his watch and continued, "The timing is just right."
Seraphina Vaughn was sowhat confused by this, but a few minutes later, the car arrived at the mountain top.
This mountain isn’t considered a popular tourist spot in the city, and without holidays, there are few people climbing up.
The early morning mountain air was extraordinarily clear; Seraphina Vaughn walked to the viewing platform; the mountain, though not high, offered a wide view, allowing the ocean scene to be fully captured.
Julian Bishop parked the car, took out the pre-prepared bread from the car, walked over and handed it to Seraphina Vaughn, saying, "The sunrise is around half past six today, and we have about twenty minutes to go; have sothing to munch on, and I’ll take you for breakfast after we’re down."
Seraphina Vaughn reached out to take the bread, grumbling and complaining as she unwrapped it, "You got up early in the morning just to see the sunrise?"
