Shane stared at her completely lost in thought, and she suddenly turned around and ran towards the door, "I’ll go downstairs to get my phone to take pictures."

"You can use mine."

Audrey Sutton stopped when she heard that and saw him already handing his phone to her.

He shouldn’t still be angry, right?

She smiled slightly, took his phone, and glanced at it, "It needs to be unlocked."

She handed the phone back to him, but he said, "Password 919... never mind, I’ll do it."

Audrey looked at him thoughtfully as he entered the password. Although she didn’t plan to snoop around on his phone, him stopping halfway through saying the password inevitably sparked her imagination.

She felt that maybe he suddenly rembered there was sothing on his phone she shouldn’t see, so he stopped.

He unlocked the phone and handed it back to her.

Audrey hid her thoughts, took the phone, opened the cara, and pointed it at the sky.

Maybe it was her mood, but the starry sky didn’t seem as beautiful as before.

She casually took a few photos and returned the phone to him.

"Not taking any more?"

Audrey: "It’s almost the sa. One or two photos will do."

That wasn’t like her; she usually takes at least ten shots from various angles of a single scene.

Shane leaned closer to her, surrounded her with his arm against the balcony wall, looked down at her, and asked, "Are you upset about the password?"

Seeing how close he was, Audrey’s eyes widened involuntarily, her ears burned, and her cheeks turned red.

And this... this could be considered a kabe-don, right?

All the frustration in her head turned into shyness, and she blushed, not daring to et his eyes.

Shane stared at her flushed face, originally unintentional, but now he felt a certain urge within.

Eye contact made both their gazes burn intensely.

Audrey’s mind went blank, only feeling the temperature on her face rise.

As if controlled by so otherworldly force, watching him slowly lean towards her, her subconscious response was not to push him away but to close her eyes instead...

"You two shaless brats! Coming to the rooftop to do sothing indecent!" Norman Sutton suddenly appeared at an inopportune mont.

It was as if an invisible hand instantly yanked Audrey out of a dream, and she snapped back to reality, hurriedly giving Shane a push, though not forcefully. Shane pulled back his hands leisurely and shalessly whispered to Audrey, "When you figure it out, you’ll naturally know what the password is."

Audrey’s heart was pounding, her mind in chaos; she couldn’t even think about figuring out the password.

It wasn’t just Norman Sutton who ca; their childhood friend, Mr. Hart, was with him.

Mr. Hart was the sa age as Norman Sutton. As a kid, he was an adorably quirky little boy. Growing up, his looks were still passable, but his height stopped at his last health check in ninth grade, never surpassing 170 centiters.

Not much taller than Audrey Sutton.

Mr. Hart walked up and gave Shane a once-over, "So, you’re that girl’s husband, huh? You do look quite decent." After that, he turned to Audrey, "Girl, you said I look okay too. How about you keep as well?"

Audrey: "Get lost."

"How can you talk like that, you little brat? You said you’d marry when you were a kid! I’ve stayed single for years for you, and now you betray , and you even tell to go away."

Audrey looked at Mr. Hart’s "performance" with speechlessness.

Shane sideways glanced at her, asking, "Did you say that?"

Audrey imdiately denied it, "No way!"

Mr. Hart looked aggrieved, "Norman, you have to back up. Didn’t she chase us all day saying she wanted to be my wife when we were kids?"

Norman Sutton chuckled, "Yeah, that really happened."

"Both of you get lost, you damn gay boys!"

Mr. Hart got even more fired up, pretending to be dainty, complete with an orchid finger pose as he leaned towards Norman Sutton’s chest, "Norman, my heart is troubled~"

Norman Sutton kicked him away, "Disgusting."

"What are you two doing up here?" Audrey asked.

Norman Sutton shook the beer and barbecue in his hands, "Drink, eat, and discuss life. Brother-in-law, want to join?"

Before Shane could answer, Audrey pulled him downstairs, "My husband is a straight guy, he won’t play with you."

Norman Sutton shouted at Audrey’s retreating back, "I’m straight too, damn it!"

Back downstairs, they each returned to their rooms.

"Ding dong——"

Audrey had just laid on her bed when her phone buzzed twice.

She picked it up to see a ssage from Shane: it was the two photos she had just taken with her phone.

Audrey’s mind raced, thinking about how to continue the conversation with him.

After organizing her thoughts, she typed a line: Why have I never seen you post on Monts before?

Imdiately, his na turned into typing.

Shane: I don’t have that habit, and there’s nothing worth sharing.

Arty: Boys don’t seem to like sharing these things.

Shane: Which other boys you know are like this?

Arty: My brothers, especially the third and fifth, they barely post anything.

Since it was about her brothers, Shane dropped the issue.

Arty: My second brother didn’t post either, but after dating my sister-in-law, he started to show off their love on Monts.

Shane: Are you hinting at sothing?

Audrey smiled at the phone screen. He was smart, understanding her hint right away. But she wouldn’t admit she wanted to see him show off their love.

Arty: No, what hint?

Shane: If you want to show off, I can help you with that. Just write the post, and I’ll send it.

Arty: What’s the point? I never said I wanted to show off.

That kind of fake love doesn’t an much. Even the post would be written by her. Is she supposed to show off to herself?

Boring man.

Arty: Not going to talk to you. I need to draw.

She waited a minute, staring at the phone screen, but he really didn’t continue chatting, not even a closing ssage. He just stopped replying.

Boring man.

Audrey threw her phone down and walked to her desk, turning on the computer. She couldn’t help but think of what he said earlier on the rooftop.

Like when she figured it out, she’d naturally know the password?

What was she supposed to figure out?

Judging by what he said, she should be able to guess the password?

She rembered he ntioned "919." Those numbers felt familiar...

Opening a search engine on the web, she typed "Shane Warner" in the search bar, and the information showed his birthday was September 19.

Then what were the remaining numbers?

How could she guess his password?

He definitely didn’t want to tell her, so he was intentionally being cryptic, acting mysterious, but actually not allowing her to guess the password.

Audrey couldn’t be bothered to dwell on it. After all, she didn’t intend to snoop on his phone.

But speaking of which, his birthday was coming up. Should she plan so kind of surprise for him?
