Miles Sterling lightly said "hmm" and answered, "Just out for a walk."

Gwen Grant said worriedly, "Your leg hasn’t healed yet. It’s inconvenient for you to be out alone. If you want to go for a walk, you can ask to go with you. I’m always worried when I can’t find you."

Miles Sterling, holding his patience, replied, "I just want to be alone in silence."

Gwen didn’t ask further questions, walked over, helped Miles Sterling into the car, placed the crutch in the trunk, and returned to the driver’s seat.

Gwen drove the car to a place in the suburbs that Miles Sterling had never been to.

She made up stories about how they used to date there.

Miles Sterling just listened silently. No matter how real or detailed Gwen’s descriptions were, he couldn’t find matching images in his mory.
