Upon hearing Miles Sterling’s question, Cynthia Ramsey raised an eyebrow slightly surprised and said to herself, "It seems you’ve already rembered her?"
Hearing that Gwen Grant knew the girl, Miles imdiately asked, "Where is she? What’s her na?"
"I don’t know where she is. As for the na... when you’re drunk you always call out ’Vanessa’. I think that’s probably it."
"Vanessa..." Miles muttered the na, and a little boy’s voice imdiately sounded in his mind: "How about we call you Vanessa? Do you like that na?"

But standing at the street corner, he hesitated, looking at the fork in the road, unsure of where to go to find her.
After calming down, he started to think again.
It’s been such a long ti since the incident, yet the girl never ca to find him. Was it because she couldn’t find him or didn’t want to see him?
The sky gradually brightened, and the streets slowly beca busier with people and vehicles.
Rows of breakfast shops lined the street, bustling inside.
Miles felt a bit hungry, but he didn’t enter any shop, just leaned on his cane like a walking corpse, aimlessly moving forward.
"Boss, I’ll have one serving of stead dumplings and one porridge to go."
A girl’s clear voice ca from nearby, causing Miles to stop suddenly and look toward the source.
A black-haired girl with shoulder-length hair stood facing away from him in front of a nearby breakfast shop.
The shopkeeper quickly packed the girl’s order and took the change she had already prepared.
The girl took the breakfast and began walking in the direction of ho, occasionally looking down at her phone as if chatting with soone.
Miles suppressed his inner excitent, as if unwilling to disturb her, but his feet involuntarily followed.
Gwen was having breakfast at ho when she suddenly received a call from a man who urgently said, "Madam, it seems there’s trouble."
Gwen put down her morning paper, frowned, and said, "What’s happened? Didn’t I ask you to follow that girl? Did you lose her?"
"No... I was following the girl like you said, but I don’t know when Mr. Sterling ca here too, and it seems he is also following that girl."

Upon hearing this, Gwen imdiately put down her milk cup, didn’t even bother to grab her coat from the table, asked for the address over the phone, grabbed the car keys from the entry cabinet, and rushed out.
Driving out, Gwen took out her phone and called Miles Sterling, the ringtone rang for a long ti, neither being hung up nor answered.
