The Death Club’s racetrack open to the public did provide cars for racing.
However, in order to acmodate customers of different skill levels, the cars offered varied in configuration and performance.
It wasn’t easy for Chi Gui to e over to play, and naturally, Lu You wanted to provide her with the best experience.
Lu You and the staff went to negotiate with Mr. You.
Mr. You’s group was playing on track C, and when Lu You arrived, he saw only three or four cars running on the track, with more than a dozen cars idling on the side.
Lu You approached, found Mr. You, and politely asked to take five idle race cars.
This was a pletely reasonable request, but upon hearing it, Mr. You just sneered, "Captain Lu, normally I wouldn’t have a problem letting you take five cars. But just now during the race, your friend refused to give up his seat because he arrived first. So now, if I take the cars first and don’t give them to you, there shouldn’t be any problem, right?"
Lu You didn’t expect Mr. You to be so unreasonable.
The seats in the spectator stands were on a first-e, first-served basis, but the race cars were a public resource provided by the club at no cost; it was wrong for one person to monopolize them!
Lu You wanted to argue further, but a staff member pulled him aside and whispered, "Captain Lu, Mr. You’s family background is not something we can afford to mess with. Your friends aren’t professional racers anyway. I’ll match you with some of the best mid-range cars, that should suffice for them."

Sister Chi’s skills were, in fact, better than many other racers!
But he also knew that Mr. You’s relative had collaboration with the club’s behind-the-scenes boss; if a conflict actually erupted, their side had no other option but to suffer.
Besides Sister Chi, the others were indeed just amateurs playing around. Later, he would let Sister Chi use his own car!
Thinking this, Lu You returned to Chi Gui’s side.
He didn’t mention the issue with Mr. You, simply saying, "The club only has mid-range cars left now, you guys start with those to get a feel for the controls, and we can e another day to drive the high-end cars!"
After speaking, he turned to Chi Gui and smiled, "Sister Chi, you can drive my car."
Chi Gui slightly furrowed her brows; when she arrived, she clearly saw that there weren’t many cars on the track, so how could there be no cars available now?
But bringing that up now would just make things difficult for Lu You, so she just nodded, "That’s fine."
Miranda and Qin Cheng didn’t mind at all, as they were just playing casually and it didn’t matter what cars they drove.
Fu Si slightly raised his eyebrows but didn’t say anything, just took out his phone and sent a message.
After agreeing with the others, Lu You then turned and asked the staff to fetch the cars.

In the main office of the open racetrack,
The manager, after hearing the report from the staff, dismissively waved his hand, "I understand. You did the right thing. Just provide Captain Lu’s friends with the highest configuration of the mid-range cars..."
Before he could finish his sentence, an angry rebuke came from the doorway, "Are you really trying to lose your job? Who gave you the nerve to give those VIPs mid-range race cars?"
The manager was stunned by the scolding, instinctively turning towards the doorway only to see Manager Tang standing there, his expression furious to the extreme!
He immediately stood up, hurriedly approaching, "Manager Tang, what brings you here? Just give the order, and it shall be done!"
Manager Tang didn’t waste time with small talk, directly ordering the manager, "Send the best race cars to Captain Lu’s group!"
