Now reading: Chapter 106: If it weren’t for dealing with Mu Hanyan from Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return, a Romance novel by White Day.

"But I really can’t rember where it was. Initially, when I went treasure hunting in the Longyan Mountain, I searched for days without any success. Unluckily I fell off a cliff but fortunately wasn’t hurt. However, I couldn’t find my way back and got lost wandering around. After finding the Water Orchid and Flower Cage Grass, I turned here and there, and sohow confusedly found my way out of the mountains."

"Sir, I really am not lying to you. If you think I’m still not telling the truth, you can kill with a sword and I won’t say a word," Che Xiang said with a pained expression, seeing everyone looking at him.

Afraid that Mu Hanyan wouldn’t believe him and yet unable to prove it, he even prepared himself for death.

"It’s alright, you still rember the place where you fell off the cliff, right?" Mu Hanyan looked at him; his manner did not seem deceitful.

Of course, even if he were lying, it wouldn’t matter because she still had the Star Illusion Thousand Machine. The device trembled again, feeling very excited, even more so than Mu Hanyan herself.

Mu Hanyan believed that as long as she was sure it was the Longyan Mountain and had a rough idea of the location, this device would definitely be able to find the Dragon Blood Stone. They say all masters are versed in astronomy and knowledgeable about geography. Since the device could predict the teor Shower, it certainly knows astronomy, and geography should be no problem either.

Unconsciously, Mu Hanyan had started treating the Star Plate as if it were a real person, and a highly skilled one at that.

"I rember," Che Xiang confird.

"Good, Huayue, Zirong, go pack up. Once you’re ready, we’ll leave imdiately," Mu Hanyan also didn’t want to waste ti, so as soon as the target was confird she imdiately issued the order.

"Brother Han Yan, I want to go too, can I?" Mu Nan looked at Mu Hanyan with both anticipation and anxiety.

He was actually just curious, but was also afraid that Mu Hanyan might suspect him of being greedy, so he felt a bit nervous.

"Sure, if you want to go then go," Mu Hanyan said nonchalantly without thinking too much.

The group quickly left the auction house, agreed on the departure ti, and each went to prepare.

Mu Hanyan and the others had just left the Nanmu Auction when a man and a woman quietly appeared from around the corner.

"How did he know that the Fire Orchid was fake?" Watching Mu Hanyan’s departing figure, Fourth Miss Zhao pondered for a mont and muttered to herself in confusion.

"Xian’er, do you know him?" The man beside her asked curiously, but his eyes showed so wariness.

This man looked about thirty-five or thirty-six years old, fairly handso, but his eyebrows occasionally revealed a hint of a sinister look.

"I said stop calling Xian’er, don’t call Xian’er, I’ll get angry if anyone calls that!" Fourth Miss Zhao suddenly shouted in an outburst.

Her real na was Zhao Lingxian, which wouldn’t sound out of place for a common person and might even carry a sowhat ethereal sense, but for a noble family’s son, it was a bit tacky.

Who knows what her parents were thinking when they chose such a lyrical na; Fourth Miss Zhao hated it when people used her real na, anyone who did made her go insane. Over ti, nobody dared call her real na anymore and addressed her as Fourth Miss Zhao.

"Oh, alright, alright, I won’t say it anymore. Don’t be angry, Xian’er," the man hurriedly soothed her with a face full of tender care that made one’s scalp tingle.

Halfway through, Fourth Miss Zhao’s expression relaxed but upon hearing the words "Xian’er" at the end, her eyebrows involuntarily knitted together, and she clenched her fists tightly.

"Don’t be mad, I really didn’t an it, Xian’er," the man said nervously and with heartache, displaying the concern and nervousness of a lovesick man in front of the woman he admired to the fullest.

Fourth Miss Zhao had three black lines form on her forehead and slowly unclenched her fists, feeling an intense sense of powerlessness well up inside. If it weren’t for dealing with Mu Hanyan, who would want to put up with this guy!
