Under the shroud of light and shadow, the Wind Spirit Rabbit just paused slightly, then jumped to the side, casting a dissatisfied glance at Mu Hanyan before turning its head to start chewing on the grass in the corner, leaving only its fat little bunny butt facing Mu Hanyan.
Contempt, this was evidently extre contempt for Lady Mu.
Lady Mu was furious and once again cast a handprint, reciting an incantation.
The light and shadow descended, and the Wind Spirit Rabbit paused again, then lightly leapt out of the invisible web of light, once more presenting its rear to Mu Hanyan, leisurely chewing on the grass.
No wonder the Beast Tars of the Holy Court Continent are so rare; even the weakest Wind Spirit Rabbit is so difficult to ta. Mu Hanyan beca more interested and once again perford a handprint, reciting the incantation.
Thus began the struggle between the person and the rabbit. Occasionally a net of light would fly out, and the chubby Wind Spirit Rabbit would occasionally be caught by surprise, then push off with its hind legs to leap aside, baring its teeth mockingly at Mu Hanyan, continuing to munch on its grass.

After being despised for so long, she had to claim so interest back. Lady Mu’s childlike delight sprang forth.
At this mont, a shadow suddenly appeared, and before Mu Hanyan could react, she saw a ferocious Exotic Beast open its bloody maw and bite down, swallowing the unresponsive Wind Spirit Rabbit whole.
What the heck? My newly tad rabbit just got eaten?
The sense of achievent that just arose was abruptly devoured, leaving Lady Mu feeling sowhat stifled.
The Exotic Beast turned its head, glaring at Mu Hanyan with fierce eyes.
Mu Hanyan finally got a clear look at the creature. It was over ten feet long, not considered enormous among Exotic Beasts, but its entire body was covered in a thick, grayish-green armor like sculpted rock, and its gleaming fangs seed as if forged from fine steel, looking extrely ferocious. Now, having swallowed the Wind Spirit Rabbit, with bits of flesh still hanging between its teeth, it appeared even more brutal.
"Fierce Stone Demon!" Mu Hanyan was shocked.
Although its na couldn’t compare to the legendary Four Great Fierce Beasts, among the myriad Exotic Beasts, the Fierce Stone Demon was also one of the renowned Fierce Beasts. Most importantly, the Four Great Fierce Beasts had long beco legends; the Qiongqi and Taowu Mu Hanyan had encountered were resurrected from bones or Essence Blood, whereas the Fierce Stone Demon continued to this day, a true existence.
In a past life, Mu Hanyan had seen a Fierce Stone Demon deep in the Longyan Mountain Range, and even those hailed as kings of beasts like lions and tigers, even with Bloodline Awakening and Innate Abilities, often weren’t its match.
Because with its granite-like hard armor, it could completely ignore the sharp claws and fangs of lion-and-tiger-like Exotic Beasts, its ferocity unmatched.
Being stared down by those blood-red eyes, even Mu Hanyan felt a chill running through her heart.
It’s strange; isn’t the Fierce Stone Demon supposed to dwell deep in the Longyan Mountain? Why is it appearing here in the Beast Taming Room? Is soone trying to harm ? Mu Hanyan felt sothing was amiss, but recalling Master Liang’s earlier behavior, it didn’t seem like it.
"Roar!" Before Mu Hanyan could figure it out, the Fierce Stone Demon let out a deafening roar and charged at her.
Facing such a beast that could roam unchallenged even in the depths of Longyan Mountain, Mu Hanyan dared not be careless, drawing her longsword and striking forward.
"Ding!" The Sword Light struck the Fierce Stone Demon, emitting a crisp sound and scattering sparks, but only chipped away a small piece of the rock-like armor, without even injuring its flesh.
This strike enraged the Fierce Stone Demon further, and with another deafening roar, it swiped a paw towards Mu Hanyan.
Unlike ordinary Exotic Beasts, its four paws were also like carved rock, heavy like massive stone hamrs, falling with a whooshing wind.
Though Mu Hanyan’s Cold Sky Sword had ascended to a Divine Artifact, it still seed so fragile in comparison. Fearing damage to the Cold Sky Sword, Mu Hanyan dared not face it head-on, dodging to the side.
Luckily, this Beast Taming Room wasn’t built for the Wind Spirit Rabbit; sotis, practicing Beast Taming Techniques involved larger Exotic Beasts, so it was constructed spaciously, giving Mu Hanyan ample room to maneuver.
Though the Fierce Stone Demon seed cumberso, it was actually incredibly agile. Mu Hanyan barely dodged, and it turned its head and swiped another paw down.
"Boom, boom," two muffled sounds rang out almost simultaneously, the two swipes creating deep pits in the floor paved with solid bluestone.
Even an iron hamr wouldn’t leave much more than this, Mu Hanyan thought, her heart pounding.
Knowing that the Beast Taming Room was built extrely solidly to prevent Exotic Beasts from escaping and harming civilians, and even had seals for protection, yet it still couldn’t withstand the Fierce Stone Demon’s imnse power.
It was only now that Mu Hanyan noticed faint cracks in the stone wall behind her, with threads of faint light seeping through.
"Petrification Technique!" Mu Hanyan suddenly understood.
When the Fierce Stone Demon’s bloodline awakens to a certain extent, it is said to comprehend the Innate Ability imprinted by its ancestors—the Petrification Technique. Not only is its defense astonishing, but it can also move through any rock, and even ordinary seals can’t stop them.
It seems this Fierce Stone Demon, even among its kind, is a top-tier powerhouse.

"Boom!" With a trendous crash, Mu Hanyan’s unstoppable sword heavily struck the Fierce Stone Demon.
But to Mu Hanyan’s great shock, her sword, which could even leave cracks on the Competition Platform built of the hardest granite, enhanced with Array Sealing defenses, only left a sword trace less than two inches deep on the stone sculpture, before rebounding, sending a numbing shock through Mu Hanyan’s arm.
