In the midst of her ecstatic state, Han Yan found herself doused with a bucket of cold water, instantly calming down. The greater the opportunity, the greater the risk. The anomaly caused by this Heavenly Destiny Star Plate was so astonishing; the crisis it contained must far exceed imagination.
"Quick, quickly seal it again!" Star Illusion Thousand Machine anxiously urged.
Without waiting for advice, Han Yan decisively ford hand gestures, attempting to seal it again, but unfortunately, it was too late.
Almost at the sa mont Han Yan ford the hand gestures, the Heavenly Destiny Star Plate shattered with a boom, pulverizing the entire box.
Han Yan was astounded. Though she had broken the box’s seals, it was crafted from Refined Steel combined with Outer Heaven teorite Gold. The solidity of the box itself, even compared to many so-called Divine Swords forged through repeated hamring, was not inferior in the least, yet it shattered like this, not into fragnts but directly into powder.
The power contained within that Heavenly Destiny Star Plate was incredibly strong, incredibly terrifying!
In an instant, Han Yan was enveloped by that imnse power.
Endless pressure squeezed from all directions. At this mont, Han Yan felt subrged one thousand fathoms under the sea, her heartbeat and breathing ceased under that enormous pressure.
Han Yan wanted to circulate her Cultivation Technique to resist, but no matter how she urged her Qi, it wouldn’t budge. The pressure was so overwhelming that even her Qi couldn’t flow.
Under that massive pressure, even the ridians began to wither, and Han Yan felt an intense pain as all her bones showed cracks.
Small blood vessels in her skin began to burst, and a strange, terrifying layer of crimson erged on her body.
Under that extre pain, Han Yan’s whole body trembled violently.
But that wasn’t the scariest part. The scariest part was, that power surged into her ridians, rampaging like a flood finding a sluice.
If Han Yan could circulate her Cultivation Technique and guide her Qi, she might have been able to channel that power through her ridians to alleviate so of the pressure, but now, her Qi was completely suppressed and immobile, allowing that power to flow aimlessly.
Though she was already at the Sixth Rank Peak of a Sword Master, and despite having undergone ridian clearing and marrow washing multiple tis, making her ridians far tougher than ordinary people, compared to this power, her body was still remarkably fragile.
Han Yan could feel that compared to the Heavenly Destiny Star Plate left by Mu Tianlie, this one contained Nine Heavens Star Power that was unimaginably much purer and more solid.
Once again, a heart-wrenching pain ca from within her ridians, and Han Yan could even hear a faint crackling sound as her ridians ruptured.
It wasn’t until this mont that Han Yan realized that within the Nine Heavens Star Power, there were also two types of Heaven and Earth Power from the Holy Court Continent and the Divine Continent. She suddenly understood that the Holy Continent was actually just one of countless cultivation planes, perhaps just one of the millions of stars for others, and that the power of the continent likewise originated from that mysterious Heavenly Star Power.
Yet, understanding aside, it didn’t help her at all. Though she had adapted to the Heaven and Earth Power of the Divine Continent long ago by using the Moon Shadow Orchid, so she didn’t imdiately lose her life, that power was so overwhelming that her body couldn’t withstand it.
As the power surged violently, one after another, her ridians ruptured. If this continued, it wouldn’t be long before the power surged into her Qi Sea, into her Heart ridian, by then she would be utterly done for.
For others, having their Qi Sea destroyed and ridians shattered might at most reduce them to a cripple, but since her cultivation core was in the Heart ridian, if that shattered, she wouldn’t even have the chance to beco a cripple, she’d be outright dead.
Han Yan desperately focused her Divine Sense, trying to mobilize her Qi to guide that force, but no matter how hard she tried, all her Qi remained tightly suppressed, unable to move a bit.
"Am I going to die under this Heavenly Destiny Star Plate?" Han Yan chuckled bitterly. She never expected that after almost sacrificing her life, and causing Huayue and others to be seriously injured for this Heavenly Destiny Star Plate, it would contain such imnse danger.
It’s ironic how Jing Jianjue had tried his utmost to snatch it from her; even if he relied on the other Heavenly Destiny Star Plates to forcibly boost his strength to Great Sword Master level, he probably wouldn’t have been able to bear it. If Jing Jianjue ended up dying to this Heavenly Destiny Star Plate, one wonders if it would make people laugh their heads off.
Of course, Han Yan certainly wouldn’t be laughing, because shortly, she’d be the one laughed at.
