"Let’s go, it’s ti to head back," Han Yan said.
"Brother Han Yan, there are still plenty of dicinal herbs here. Aren’t you going to carry so back? Even the smallest mosquito is still at," Mu Nan joked as he stuck his head out from his huge backpack, which resembled a turtle shell, looking at the empty-handed Han Yan.

The journey back was uneventful and safe. Aside from the slight difficulty of climbing cliffs with a large pack, there were no other displeasures. Of course, the hardships were endured by others, so Lady Mu was still quite happy.
Upon reaching Dragon Whisker City, the group didn’t linger and directly rented a horse-drawn carriage to load the dicinal herbs. A few days later, they returned to Heishi City.
"Take these dicinal herbs to the Nanmu Chamber of Comrce and have them well-managed. I’ll head ho first," Han Yan told Huayue and the others. After having an open and honest talk with her father and learning many previously unknown details, she felt a deeper attachnt to her family, fearing that her parents and younger brother might be worried after her departure.
"Wait, I’ll go back with you," Mu Nan hastily said. Although the elders jockeyed among themselves for power, they still deeply cared for their own descendants. Like Mu Nan and other descendants of the Mu Family, he also felt a strong attachnt to his family, wishing he could have returned sooner to allay their concerns.
"That’s fine. Then Zirong, Huayue, Che Xiang, you all go to the Nanmu Chamber of Comrce. Rember to sort things out nicely and don’t ruin anything," Han Yan said, appreciating Mu Nan’s filial piety and giving instructions to Zirong and the others.
"Leave it to us, Young Master. Rest assured," Zirong and the group nodded in agreent.
Zirong appeared cynical but was actually quite shrewd, Huayue rarely smiled but was mature and stable, and Che Xiang—after spending a few days with them, Han Yan had noticed that he was ticulous. With this group together, there really was nothing to worry about.
The two had just returned to the Mu Residence when they encountered the Third Elder.
"Grandfather, I’m back," Mu Nan greeted him joyfully, observing proprieties since others were present, and not casually calling him ’grandfather.’
"Good to have you back, good to have you back. You have no idea how worried your parents have been. Go and reassure them," said the Third Elder with delight, his heart finally at ease as he patted Mu Nan’s shoulder.
"Han Yan greets the Third Elder," Han Yan also greeted him respectfully.
"Mhm, noted," the Third Elder’s smile vanished instantly, and he spoke with a stern face.
It was hard to imagine how soone could switch expressions so quickly—faster than flipping through a book.
Han Yan, long accustod to this, didn’t mind and with a smile, turned to leave.
Mu Nan felt awkward and guilty, giving her a sheepish grin, but Han Yan waved her hand, indicating there was no need to worry.
