"It’s over, I never imagined I’d inexplicably die again after being reborn!" Mu Hanyan watched helplessly as the cold longsword blade fell, thinking in dismay. Yet, there was not a hint of regret or dejection for no one would have imagined such a bizarre event occurring.
Just as Mu Hanyan had resigned herself to death once more, sothing even more startling happened.
The blade struck her forehead, yet she felt no cold, only a massive, unprecedented power exploding into her, flooding her Eight Extraordinary ridians. As she ascended to a Great Swordsman, her ridians grew extraordinarily resilient. Nonetheless, under the impact of this colossal force, they nearly shattered completely.
What a terrifying power! Too many bizarre things, too many incredibilities had numbed Mu Yan’s nerves, preventing her from pondering why the blade slicing her forehead hadn’t split her in two but only injected that imnse power throughout her body.
She simply frantically circulated her Heavenly Heart Energy, doing her utmost to protect her ridians, clinging to a sliver of life.
Suddenly, Mu Hanyan’s expression turned weird, a mix of surprise and delight in her eyes.
The power within her adversary’s blade was astonishingly similar to Yan Yuchu’s, also derived from the Nine Heavens Star Power from beyond the skies, only purer and mightier!
If it were anyone else, such a trendous force directly infused into their body would have left them either lucky to live or crippled with broken ridians. But for Mu Hanyan, this Nine Heavens Star Power was the best possible cultivation resource, far more beneficial than the Heaven and Earth Power of the Holy Court Continent.
The only problem was that this power was too vast, too fierce; even with full force circulation of the Heavenly Heart Technique, it was nigh impossible to assimilate.
In a re mont, fine threads of blood oozed from Mu Hanyan’s mouth and nose, several ridians also showed signs of fracture, and a bone-piercing pain surged throughout her body.
Sweat poured down Mu Hanyan, her whole body trembling slightly due to the pain, her limbs even spasming at tis, but her gaze remained exceptionally resolute.
Nothing was more important than surviving. As long as there was a glimr of hope, no matter the pain endured, she would persevere.
Persevere, and keep persevering. Mu Hanyan finally managed to cycle the Heavenly Heart Technique completely, channeling a strand of Nine Heavens Star Power into her Heart ridian.
Mu Hanyan gently shook her head, flicking off the large sweat beads on her face, finally feeling a bit relieved.
But imdiately, the person opposite pressed down his longsword, sending a surge of even vaster Nine Heavens Star Power her way.
Instantly, every muscle, every bone, even every pore in her body scread in shattering pain, a pain that could make anyone collapse on the spot and relinquish the will to survive.
But Mu Hanyan didn’t crumble, nor did she give up.
"Ah!" Mu Hanyan let out a long cry, biting her tongue and spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood, but her ntal state cleared from the extre pain. She again began to operate the Heavenly Heart Technique with all her might.
Ti and again she circulated the technique, ti and again she drew the terrifyingly massive Nine Heavens Star Power into her Heart ridian, and ti and again her opponent continued to pour more overwhelming Nine Heavens Star Power into her ridians.
Mu Hanyan’s clothes were soaked with sweat. Several tis, she almost couldn’t help but give up, but each ti, she persisted.
