Mu Feng’s longsword was still embedded in the Fierce Bear’s back, and when it stood up, it had caused him to lose grip of it. He had no ans of defense now, and indeed, even if he had, it likely wouldn’t have blocked the angry strike from the Fierce Bear.
"I’m done for!" Mu Feng realized this as he snapped out of his impulsive rage, his face turned pale, and his mind went blank.
"Have you lost your mind?" Suddenly, the familiar voice of Mu Hanyan rang in his ears.
Next, Mu Feng was pulled back onto the steps by a trendous force, a flash of sword light, and the Fierce Bear was instantly killed, blood splashing three feet.
Mu Feng, having narrowly escaped death, felt as if he were in a dream, staring at the wide-open eyes of the Fierce Bear, finding it difficult to get his bearings.
"You got lucky this ti. If you’re this foolish again, no one can save you," Mu Hanyan slapped him hard on the face, scolding him furiously.
