"Huh!" Picking up the Star Compass, Mu Hanyan was surprised to find that in addition to the original starry sky image, there were a few small characters in the center.
"Star Illusion Thousand Machine!" Mu Hanyan read these characters and was astonished inside, Could this be the real na of the Star Compass? It sounds pretty cool. Is this thing introducing itself?
"Stupid!" As she was marveling, another character appeared on the Star Plate. Although the writing was so crooked that it made one anxious, she still recognized it was the character for ’stupid.’
"What?" Mu Hanyan was taken aback and blurted out subconsciously.
"Saying... you... stupid" Several more characters flashed one after another on the Star Illusion Thousand Machine, still crooked enough to cause angst.
"You... you can actually talk?" Surprise turned into delight for Mu Hanyan. The old Star Compass could only convey emotions to her, and she had to guess what they ant. Now it could actually ’talk’, no more guessing.
"Saying... you... stupid, you really are stupid. Did I speak?" Ten more characters appeared in rapid succession on the Star Illusion Thousand Machine, with the speed becoming faster and the feeling more practiced, though the handwriting remained as hideous as ever.
"Oh, oh, oh, it’s not talking, it’s writing. You can actually write," Mu Hanyan wasn’t angry but continued to speak with excited joy.
"Make a fuss over nothing, get on with cultivation, I want to sleep now." Another sentence appeared on the Star Illusion Thousand Machine. The tone was clearly disdainful.
"Alright, alright." Mu Hanyan was counting on it to improve her strength and obviously wouldn’t waste ti. She quickly gathered her ntal state and began running the Cultivation Technique.
The power of Heaven and Earth converged at her forehead and once again moved towards her Heart ridian. This ti, as Mu Hanyan practiced Concentrating Inner Vision, she clearly saw the trajectory of the Heaven and Earth Power.
As usual, once the Heaven and Earth Power entered her Heart ridian, it disappeared without a trace, and there was no significant change in her strength.
However, Mu Hanyan discovered that the Heaven and Earth Power hadn’t disappeared as she previously thought. Instead, it had condensed into Heavenly Heart Energy, dispersing within the Heart ridian. Just because the ridian was vast and infinite like the starry sky, and the Heavenly Heart Energy was so minute in comparison, the increase in strength was hardly noticeable.
So that was it! Mu Hanyan finally understood why her path of cultivation was so challenging in her previous life. It wasn’t because her aptitude was poor, but because the space in her Heart ridian was too vast, making it difficult to refine enough Heavenly Heart Energy.
Mu Hanyan suddenly rembered that in her previous life, after she turned sixteen, the path of cultivation had beco smooth sailing. Yet, until she reached the Sword Saint Realm, she never noticed any abnormality in her Heart ridian.
Which ant that once she had passed her sixteenth birthday, her ridians underwent a change, significantly reducing their capacity. Because of the accumulation over the previous years, there was a rapid increase in strength, resulting from building up a strong foundation and then making progress by leaps and bounds.
Understanding this, Mu Hanyan was no longer disappointed in her current strength, which was far from that of her past. Instead, she felt fortunate.
The Mu Family’s Heavenly Heart Technique was indeed more mysterious than the Cultivation thods of other families, focusing primarily on the Heart ridian. The grander the Heart ridian, the more Qi it could contain, and consequently, the greater the potential for cultivation.
Although she had reached the Sword Saint Realm in her previous life, her Heart ridian had no significant advantage compared to other cultivators, which ant her potential was ultimately limited, and so was her final achievent.
