"You glutton!" Mu Hanyan was exasperated. Eating was all this guy ever thought about! It wasn’t even alti, and he was already thinking about eating!
"People are iron, food is steel; how can we work without eating?" Ling Baobao ignored Mu Hanyan’s fierce gaze, patting his belly righteously.
"Mu Cheng, call those people back here," Mu Hanyan said expressionlessly to Mu Cheng, "tell them I’ve changed my mind and let them give the silver note back. I don’t care about this guy’s life or death anymore."
"No no, can’t I just not eat?" Ling Baobao’s face changed dramatically, he sighed and honestly followed behind Mu Hanyan.
Soon, the two arrived at the VIP room, and Yan Yuchu and the others, who had no interest in alchemy, stayed outside. They were sowhat curious, but their curiosity about Mu Hanyan was too overwhelming, so they didn’t bother to puzzle over it anymore.
"First, let see that treasure of yours. I’ve never heard of a treasure in this world that could help one comprehend hand gestures," Ling Baobao seed to have a bulldog’s tenacity, knowing he couldn’t outdo Mu Hanyan. He quickly forgot about the matter of eating, eagerly looking forward to what Mu Hanyan would show, like a curious child.
"You think I would just casually show off such a treasure?" Mu Hanyan glanced at Ling Baobao and said.
If it was so other heavenly material or earthly treasure, it wouldn’t be a problem to show it, but the Star Illusion Thousand Machine, if it could remain hidden, it would not be easily revealed.
"Stingy." Ling Baobao mumbled, dispirited, slouching and drooping his shoulders, he asked, "So, what should we do now?"
"Just like you did before, randomly perform the hand gestures, but be quick about it, learn fast so you can eat soon." Mu Hanyan casually handed a raw stone to Ling Baobao.
Hearing that learning quickly ant eating sooner, Ling Baobao imdiately perked up as though injected with adrenaline; his back straightened, his shoulders squared, and his mantras were perford swiftly.
Mu Hanyan observed Ling Baobao’s hand gestures, but her peripheral vision stayed locked on the Star Plate at her chest.
As Ling Baobao’s hand gestures continued, the Star Plate once again flickered with faint starlight, forming wonderful star patterns, but suddenly, the light dimd and the star pattern disappeared from sight.
"Stop," Mu Hanyan quickly called out, telling Ling Baobao, "Start over, change the last hand gesture."
"Oh," Ling Baobao didn’t ask further and randomly perford another hand gesture.
"Change it again." Seeing that the Star Plate still had no reaction, Mu Hanyan said.
Ling Baobao imdiately started another set of hand gestures, but after changing the last one, there was still no response.
"Start over, change it again," Mu Hanyan said.
Despite Ling Baobao’s earlier appearance of being lazy and nonchalant, when it ca to performing hand gestures, he was incredibly patient, without saying much or asking questions, he faithfully changed the hand gestures ti and again at Mu Hanyan’s command.
Finally, as another hand gesture was perford, the Star Plate twinkled with points of starlight.
At the sa ti, a misty blue fla flashed, enveloping the raw stone.
After the fla passed, no teorite gold’s distinctive golden flowing light appeared, clearly indicating it was a useless stone.
Regardless, the hand gesture was successful, and Ling Baobao’s face still wore a look of joy.
"It seems different teorite gold must be refined with different hand gestures," Ling Baobao murmured to himself, holding the useless stone, recalling sothing.
Mu Hanyan hadn’t considered this before, but having been reminded by Ling Baobao, it really seed to be the case. Each ti she refined teorite gold before, she used different hand gestures.
