Jin Yuguang remained stunned for a long while before he reached out to wipe the saliva from his face, confirming that he wasn’t hallucinating. Only then did he co back to his senses and looked straight at Ye Lanfeng without saying a word.
"You were asked a question," Ye Lanfeng said with clear impatience.
"I... how would I know? If I knew, I would have won over Miss Qin a long ti ago," Jin Yuguang first looked bewildered, then said with aggrievent.
That sounded reasonable, yet Lord Ye actually found himself at a loss for words—yeah, right.
Ye Lanfeng looked at Jin Yuguang coldly, slightly parted his lips, but the words that ca from those sensual lips didn’t match his Banished Immortal-like appearance at all. He spoke clearly and deliberately, "Get lost! What use are you to ?!"
Jin Yuguang: "Oh." Then, feeling aggrieved, he crouched down, hugged his head, and started to roll around on the spot.
Mu Hanyan, having returned from washing so wild fruits, saw this scene: Ye Lanfeng was watching with an icy face as Jin Yuguang rolled around on the ground.
What sort of act was this?
Mu Hanyan was completely perplexed as well.
"What is this, is Little Jin practicing so skill? What kind of skill is this?" Mu Hanyan approached and handed a clean wild fruit to Ye Lanfeng, then sat beside him, watching Jin Yuguang, who had finally stopped rolling, and began nibbling on her fruit.

"Mm, he’s practicing a skill, so go and practice further away," Ye Lanfeng, eating the wild fruit washed by Mu Hanyan’s own hands, said light-heartedly with a good mood, but the decision he made was cruel.

Listening to Mu Hanyan’s words, the smile faded from Ye Lanfeng’s face, replaced by an expression that grew more and more solemn.
Mu Hanyan’s wish seed simple, but to achieve it was very difficult and would be a long process. Moreover, when she expressed such a wish, Ye Lanfeng keenly noticed a montary sadness and vicissitudes in Mu Hanyan’s eyes, emotions that did not belong to soone of her age or experiences.
But that emotion quickly disappeared, so fast that Ye Lanfeng thought he was imagining it.
Why would she feel such emotions?
A pain welled up unbidden in Ye Lanfeng’s heart.
"I will help you achieve this wish," Ye Lanfeng said softly, yet his tone was so firm, as if he was making an unbreakable vow.
Mu Hanyan was taken aback for a mont, then smiled slightly, "You have already helped so much, I want to rely more on my own strength to accomplish it."
"I understand," Ye Lanfeng nodded, not saying any more. He understood Mu Hanyan’s sentint; she did not want to depend endlessly on others, she wanted to make her own way, even if the path ahead was full of thorns. However, in his heart, Ye Lanfeng silently added a sentence, I will walk with you every step of the way. Ye Lanfeng also understood what he had to do going forward; he could protect Mu Hanyan without inhibiting her growth.
