Feeling disoriented from her sleep, Gu Chaoyan experienced a wave of dizziness. As she regained full consciousness, she suddenly felt a piercing chill in the air. He arrived swiftly at Fengxian Palace.

He held her tightly, unwilling to let any hint of chill reach her.
