Also, as they ventured further into the snowy land, Gu Chaoyan couldn’t help but feel an intense coldness seeping into her bones. It seemed as though she was on the verge of freezing.
Initially, she attributed it to her body adjusting to the new environment. However, as they continued marching forward, the chill became overwhelming, almost causing her to collapse.

“They are located in the heart of Snow Territory, the coldest area of all. It will take another ten days for you to reach there,” Ouyang Mingjing responded from outside the wagon.
This meant that without the troops, the travel time would be considerably shorter.
Such was the disparity.
Gu Chaoyan wasn’t in a rush to reach the towns. She wished to allocate more time on the journey, allowing the hidden guards to familiarize themselves with the route.
