Cai Zhu’s worried face was brightened up, when she assumed that Madame Gu asked her first to get her justice done. She threw a provocative look at Gu Chaoyan just to see if Lady Chaoyan was panicking.
Cai Zhu had decided that if this ugly woman begged her, she might forgive her. So she did not answer the question directly, instead she waited for a little while longer.
