Gu Chaoyan looked at Li Yuanxiang with a look of surprise.
She did ask Li Yuanxiang to be her witness a couple of days ago at the Saint College, but Yuanxiang told her that her mother did not want them to spend more time with each other, in case her father made use of them. So Gu Chaoyan stopped thinking about that.
However, now Li Yuanxiang came to her and asked if she could be the witness.
She would definitely have asked her to be the witness if the position was vacant, but now the position was already taken.
Gu Chaoyan said awkwardly, “Yuanxiang, when you told me that you could not e, Princess Yunxi offered to bee the witness back at the Min Mansion, so I said yes…”
