After leaving the Dawn Society, Tan Rou and Samiyi did not head straight back to the royal city but made a large detour before taking a small path back to the royal city.
On their way back, Samiyi and Tan Rou chatted about Ina’s story.
“Ina is an orphan,” Samiyi said, “She isn’t from the royal city; she came here after being adopted by the Dawn Society. The person who adopted her was Gand, but usually, she only calls Gand uncle. Her parents died in a terrorist attack that occurred in a border area where the control has always been chaotic. After her parents died, Ina started to drift.”
“That’s quite pitiful,” Tan Rou felt sorry for the little girl, “Such a young age and she’s lost her parents.”
