anwhile, Drowned walked through the place. She thought she could change it, bring him back, her lover, Sylvester Kyle. She could still see him, as if he stood before her. Dashing. Strong. Unwavering.
She thought back to the first ti they t, he had saved her from a sinking ship. It was destiny, a mixing of fates. They had fallen quickly, drawn together by sothing beyond words. Their first date had been magical. It was on a boat. The moonlight reflected off the waves. He was a funny guy. She thought the way he had looked at her—like she was his entire world. And she had let herself believe it.
They had shared love, spent stolen nights in each other's arms. They had planned for marriage, for a life, for kids, to grow old. However life is never that simple. Her happiness was all gone. A group of rogue tas tore through their city, leaving destruction in its wake. Sylvester was caught up and died. She had watched him die. Watched the life drain from his eyes, his final breath slipping away before she could save him.
And with that mont she vowed to kill every rogue ta. Every rogue ta. Every monster who thought they could take and take without consequence. She would hunt them, break them, drown them beneath the weight of their sins.
Because if justice would not claim them, she would. However at the cost of him. She wanted him back. Her Sylvester Kyle, she thought.
She kept walking and arrived at a pristine white door with a small, reinforced window stood before them. She thought even this so-called heaven has a prison.
She approached the small window and peered inside. There she saw a man on the floor watching the scene in horror. It was playing a video of a man and a beautiful girl.
They were walking together, holding hands. Then they shared a kiss.
She thought of her ti with him. She thought of Sylvester.
Then the scene abruptly shifted. Now the screen showed the beautiful woman again, this ti with another man, a handso figure holding his hand.
“Jasmine my love,” he shouted.
“Jasmine,” Drowned muttered. She thought it was so torture . She wondered why. There was sothing else going on. The Goddess was hiding sothing.
She continued down the path until she got to a white lift. She entered the lift and pressed to a different floor. She thought about the video playing together. The happiness she saw, what she had, she wanted it back. The lift stopped and the doors opened.
She exited the lit and looked to see a sleek, black pyramid with clean edges. The pyramid sat on a raised, rectangular base. The front of the pyramid had a large circular emblem. There was a corrupted aura from it. Drowned could feel there was sothing different about this. She had never seen or experienced this. She thought no she had when her world started to fall apart.
At that mont, a creature with a chanical body, primarily black and grey with red accents appeared. Its brain was visible through a transparent do on the top of its head. It had multiple limbs that were flexible and tube-like. Its eyes were glowing red. “What are you doing here?” he shouted. “Leave now,” he demand.
Drowned looked to see Scientist. She grabbed his limbs and pulled them. “Beat it,” Drowned said as she pushed Scientist away.
Scientist got his balance and looked at her. He thought this was who Goddess called for. He thought the Goddess works in mysterious ways.
“Why are you here?” he asked.
Drowned did not respond. She looked at the pyramid.
Scientist was getting annoyed. “If you want to know, that is the Aether Pyramid, a device created by the Keepers,” he said.
Drowned did not respond.
“The Aether Pyramid allows its user to harness the power of the Dark Aether to control reality itself,” Scientist explained.
Drowned looked at Scientist. “So the Goddess will use this to get her power back?” Drowned asked. “What stops anyone else from using it?” she asked.
“The Dark Aether corrupts everyone, makes them their slave however the Goddess is special. Her abilities go beyond our comprehension,” he added.
“So why does she need that man?” Drowned asked.
“The Goddess says it needs a power source and that power source is the watch he wears,” Scientist responded.
Drowned looked around and saw multiple towering Transforrs.
The first Transforr, once a military armored truck, still carried remnants of its thick plated armor, reinforced edges could be seen. Bolts of blue lightning surged along its surface.
The second Transforr, originally a sleek, high-speed motorcycle, retained its compact build. Its black plating glead, layered with red circuit energy lines that pulsed with controlled power.
The third Transforr, once a heavy-duty construction vehicle, had transford into sothing monstrous. Its fra was massive, covered in jagged edges and reinforced plating, reminiscent of the excavator blades it once bore. The red glow in its optics flickered.
The fourth Transforr, previously an elite luxury car. The wheels could be seen on his legs. There were doors coming from his hand.
Drowned saw there were many more. “He looks like a kid,” Drowned said. “I will take him” she added. “Where is he?” Drowned asked.
“When they travelled between the universe, it left a signature similar to a boom, we have used it to trace their location, however it can be used once to find it this way, then we need to wait until they travel again,” Scientist responded.
“I only need one shot,” Drowned responded. She thought back to her undead army and these robots would be sufficient. She took down more with less.
“You all are with ,” Drowned commanded. “Let's go and take him,” she stated.
“But the Goddess said we need more,” a transforr responded.
“We don't need more, we have her blessings,” she said. “That is all we need,” she added. “She would be pleased we brought it back earlier,” she explained.
The room erupted into cheer. Drowned smiled.
anwhile, the Goddess sat on her throne. She looked at Drowned through a monitor and smiled. “You have no idea what my man is capable of,” the Goddess remarked. She looked at another monitor and saw Jas and Saya sleeping together.
