"Now are you awake?" Lin Jun asked again.
"Who... who are you, exactly? Why did you turn into this?" Norris felt like he had turned into a monster.
"I’m the one who saved your life. As for why you turned out like this, didn’t I already tell you? It’s just a small price to pay after treatnt.
I even specifically asked you again, did you forget?"
Norris thought about it and realized that was indeed the case, but he never expected such a price at the ti.
Seemingly guessing Norris’s thoughts, Lin Jun continued, "What, if you had known you would turn out like this, would you have chosen to give up on life? If you want, you can still choose right now."
Norris looked at his sharp claws and swallowed hard.

It’s one of the few animal-type demons that can roam freely in the Level 6 Botanical Garden, relying on its thick skin, aty flesh, and great strength, unaffected by the plants’ entanglents.
"No way! How can I fight a Level 6 demon!"
Although Norris was Level 21, in a real battle, even the demons of the first three levels would be a tough challenge.

The Pukis pushed Norris back, and the Stone-skinned Wild Boar slowly woke up. The mont it did, a stone thrown by a Puki hit its head.

He writhed on the ground for a while before realizing it was just a bit painful, and by this ti, the boar had charged in again.
This ti, the Stone-skinned Wild Boar pinned Norris under a Mushroom Tree and kept ramming him until he was deeply embedded.
Cornered, Norris desperately tried to block the boar’s head with his hands, only for his claws to easily pierce the boar’s hide.
Unfortunately, he missed a vital spot. Injured, the boar only beca more frenzied.
It ramd again and again. Although its tusks were not particularly sharp, Norris’s scales were still intact, but his internal organs couldn’t withstand the assault.
Spitting out a mouthful of blood, Norris beca desperate. His claws plunged into the boar’s body and pulled desperately, while the magic power inside his body instinctively gathered at the chest cavity’s gap.

The skills Lin Jun equipped him with were enough for a Puki to defeat this Stone-skinned Wild Boar, not to ntion Norris’s Attribute Values were much higher, yet he perford like this.
But it made sense, thinking back to Norris’s previous skill panel, he probably hadn’t been in any real battles.
Though Lin Jun and Xiao Hai thought Norris’s performance was pathetic, Norris himself didn’t see it that way.
Norris looked at the fallen Stone-skinned Wild Boar before him, his chest heaving violently.
A strange sensation crawled along his spine, a mix of fear, excitent, joy, and pain, filling his mind.
He looked at his blood-dripping hands.
"This is... power!"
