The over four-ter-tall Minotaur touched his previously blasted abdon, now a bloody ss, knowing he couldn’t rely on his brute strength to withstand attacks anymore.
Charging mindlessly would only result in the sa fate as the Giant Spider beside him, which was blasted into pieces.
In reality, if they t elsewhere, it would have been a fierce battle to the death between him and the Giant Spider.
But today, facing the sudden indiscriminate attack from the Pukis, the two adversarial races had to temporarily join forces.
Now, he even needed to borrow the remaining strength of the Giant Spider.
More accurately, he relied on the rear half of the Giant Spider’s massive body—a thick rump.
The Minotaur turned and swung his giant axe, slicing off the rump of the fallen Giant Spider, grabbing the hefty part to use as a shield.

The Minotaur lowly roared and charged towards the Pukis with the at shield of the Giant Spider’s rump.
More than just the Minotaur attacked the Pukis.
Mud Monsters, Crystal Cluster Beast with crystal shells, Demon-toothed Wild Boar, and the most nurous Black Shadow Bats... they all rushed at the Pukis from different parts of the cavern.
This was a super large cavern, hosting scarce freshwater resources in the deep area, thus attracting many kinds of demons to inhabit nearby.
Any demon with basic survival instinct would avoid battling near the water sources to prevent damaging this precious resource. But these mushrooms clearly lacked such wisdom.
They launched indiscriminate area attacks, slaughtering all living creatures in sight.
Even during the initial attack, they blasted several Poisonous Lizards drinking by the lake into bits, causing the toxic fluid to seep into the lake and contaminate the water.
This behavior surely incited hostility from all demons in the cavern, temporarily uniting them to counter the common threat.
Moo—!
Using the Giant Spider’s rump and other demons to divert firepower, the Minotaur charged into the Pukis.
Flung away the already blasted rump, the Minotaur swung his giant axe in a whirlwind!
The fragile bodies of Pukis presented no barrier to the axe, even giving the Minotaur a sense of emptiness.
Yet, in reality, this single strike eliminated eight Pukis.
The Minotaur swung the heavy giant axe with afterimages.
Ultimately, they were just weak creatures; once close, they were absolutely defenseless!
Imrsed in the slaughter, the Minotaur failed to notice several red blood lines swiftly traversing the Puki ranks.
By the ti he slled the pungent scent of blood, it was too late.
The thick fur and hard muscles couldn’t resist the blood lines in the slightest; in just a mont, several blood holes pierced through the Minotaur, leaving him severely injured.
The Minotaur knelt amid the Puki ranks, with a Puki aiming a Mushroom Cannon at him.
A pale but powerful hand gently redirected the Mushroom Cannon from the Puki cap elsewhere.
Louisa slowly walked forward as the Pukis voluntarily made way for her.
Her face was full, her deanor graceful, lacking any trace of the dishevelnt from days before.
Clearly, the cuisine here was much better for her.
Louisa was herself two ters tall, yet the kneeling Minotaur was still towering over her.
However, she paid no heed to the Minotaur before her.
The Vampire inserted her fingers into the pierced arm of the Minotaur, and amidst his groan, drew out a string of fresh blood and relished it.
Her other hand held her chin, revealing a satisfied expression.
Though not human, albeit with a slight bovine odor, it was still blood from a humanoid intelligent creature, so vibrant, with such potent life force in the blood!
She was nearly intoxicated by it.
As Louisa closed her eyes to savor, remarkably, the severely injured Minotaur stood up again with sheer determination.
His blood-covered right hand lifted the giant axe high and struck down fiercely at this woman who held him in disdain!
Nevertheless, a single hand firmly caught the axe handle, preventing it from descending despite the Minotaur’s might.
Louisa then leisurely reopened her eyes.
Though not from a race like the Minotaur which specializes in power, the gap in level still afforded Louisa higher power attributes than the Minotaur, not to ntion the Minotaur was wounded.
Watching the Minotaur still refusing to give up, trying to fist her.
Louisa lightly beckoned her finger, and the fresh blood from the Minotaur’s wounds surged out, gathering into her hand.
Soon enough, the Minotaur was on the verge of being drained dry.
"Cough!"
A cough suddenly echoed from the Fungal Network.
Louisa’s hand trembled instantly, almost spilling the blood ball in her hand.
The delicious taste of blood nearly made her forget the task assigned by that terrifying presence!
Promptly halting the extraction of Minotaur blood, she even controlled herself to return a bit.
The boss’s requirent—capture humanoid creatures without killing them!
Thankfully, the Minotaur still had a breath left; she didn’t want to experience more mushrooms suddenly growing on her body.
She reluctantly watched several Cow and Horse Puki drag the unconscious Minotaur away—the last essence of life before death was the most exquisite part.
But with the boss KPI allocation prevailing, life was far more crucial than a bit of gourt desire.

Casually drawing out blood from deceased demons, she ford blood lines shooting at the Black Shadow Bats fluttering overhead, downing over ten nearby ones.
Looking at the endless demons before her, Louisa didn’t intend to handle them all personally.
Her mind commanded, and elite Pukis surrounded her, launching fierce attacks on the demons.
While she only dealt with those lucky enough to breach the firepower net.
In this Puki expedition team, the only ones she could directly command were this elite Puki squad, specifically assisting her in handling higher-level demons.
As for common demons, countless regular Pukis handled their cleanup.
Like now, realizing the true nuisance of the cavern was the swarm of Black Shadow Bats flying about, soon the Pukis dispatched their own bats!
The troubleso part of Black Shadow Bats lay in their stealth attacks; however, Bat Pukis’ speed was insignificant compared to Black Shadow Bats.
But Bat Pukis exploded upon contact!
For a mont, fireworks blood above the cavern, fragnts of fungus and ruined Black Shadow Bat corpses raining down together.
The cavern’s situation was largely settled now.
Louisa consud the remaining Minotaur blood in hand, her eyes turning distant again; now, she only wished to stay down here forever, never returning to the fifth level of painful mories!
