Divine Wood Dungeon.

Scout Puki stopped at the edge of the inner ring of this gigantic spiral structure.
Not far away, a two-headed flying snake perched on a branch, four cold vertical pupils locked onto Puki, with two scarlet snake tongues hissing in and out. It maintained a posture ready to pounce at any mont, yet it didn’t actually attack, just remained vigilant.
The magical creatures of the Divine Wood Dungeon were generally cautious towards the previously unseen Scout Puki, and wouldn’t provoke recklessly.
Only a few would rush up mindlessly, only to end up losing their lives.
For these cautious magical creatures, Lin Jun didn’t initiate attacks; just opening the panel to roughly understand the situation was enough.
Above, sunlight filtered down from the spiral ceiling, falling on Puki, slowly replenishing Scout Puki’s magic power.
Below was the center of the bottomless spiral abyss.
If it flew down from here, it would reach the lower layer in the shortest distance.
However, Scout Puki did not move forward.
This... is already the third Scout Puki.
The second Scout Puki lost all buoyancy in an instant, just by taking a small probing step forward, fell straight down like a heavy stone, and unsurprisingly died from the fall.
Obviously, a normal dungeon wouldn’t leave such an obvious "shortcut" for adventurers to exploit; this central area had a no-fly effect.
Scout Puki moved a few steps back, creating a safe distance, then took flight again.
Flying past the flying snake below, which still had twin heads raised and tongues hissing, maintaining high alert, it clung to the edge of the massive spiral structure and flew deeper.
The Divine Wood Dungeon was vast in scale, and Scout Puki, even by flying, only circled it twice in an entire day, reaching the sixth layer.
This was under the enhancent of [Refraction Invisibility], nearly avoiding all entanglents with magical creatures along the way.
If it were an adventurer team, the dangers and ti of this journey would probably be several tis higher.
Thus inferred, even for a strong adventurer team, it might take about half a month to reach the deepest part of this dungeon.
So... has anyone really been to the very bottom?
Based on his own dungeon’s experience, the deepest part should be the dungeon’s core.
If he had the chance to access it, could he control a second dungeon?
But then again, would it really be aningful to control a second dungeon?
He controlled the Purple Crystal Dungeon because it was his foundation, and his main body was settled there; not controlling it would be unsafe and insecure.
Now with the back secured, controlling another dungeon might seem powerful, but actually further reduces the number of controllable Puki, possibly becoming a burden instead...
Thoughts ceased promptly; laying the fungal mat here has just started, and these ideas are premature.
Buzz—!
The sound of wings approaching, a Giant Needle Bee tracked Scout Puki by the air disturbed by its wings.
[Air Flow Perception Level 5]
An inefficient, completely unworthy skill to carry.
With a casual whip, Lin Jun killed the Giant Needle Bee that flew too close and noted the location of this area, letting Scout Puki detour away.
Finding the beehive, maybe the Queen Bee has skills suitable for him.
However, with Scout Puki discovered, he didn’t approach. Anyway, they wouldn’t run away.
Flying a distance away, Scout Puki suddenly changed direction—the [Sound Wave Detection] found sothing strange.
A few minutes later, the invisible Scout Puki landed on a high branch.
Below, there was a group of Elves!
Lin Jun thought he wouldn’t encounter Elves again in the Divine Wood Dungeon!
And eting seven at once, in such a deep position as the sixth layer!
Pulled open the panel, two Diamond Level, five Gold Level, what are they doing?
On the ground, a temporary magic array was drawn, and the magical creature trapped at the center, Lin Jun was very familiar with—a Tree Demon!
Obviously not from his own dungeon batch, this Tree Demon had no mushrooms growing on it, clearly an indigenous species of the Divine Wood Dungeon.
Previously, he suspected Tree Demons might be related to the Divine Wood Dungeon, now looks like it might have been left from an academic exchange between the two dungeons.
In the magic array, the Tree Demon was tightly bound, while an Elf forcibly wedged a fist-sized stone exuding ominous red light into the gnarled chest of the Tree Demon!
Crimson veins rapidly spread like living things under the gray-brown wood texture of the Tree Demon, muffled roars turning into painful screams.
When the red light engulfed the entire body, the Tree Demon gained a new status.
[Frenzy]
Then, the Elves left the Tree Demon and retreated directly.
The binding magic array beneath the Tree Demon still seed to hold for a while.
What are these Elves doing exactly?
Honestly, Lin Jun couldn’t understand the purpose of these actions.
With a slight hesitation, Scout Puki imdiately flapped its wings, quietly following the group of Elves.
Only two minutes into the chase, a blue-white lightning suddenly appeared ahead.
[Wake Jet]
The powerful thrust made Scout Puki narrowly dodge to the side of a giant tree.
The lightning attack had a weak tracking feature but couldn’t bypass obstacles, striking hard into the hefty trunk!
Boom!
Sawdust flew, fire and blue smoke rose from the charred break, and the giant tree groaned as it fell.
Exposed!
However, just as Scout Puki had evaded the lightning and hadn’t had ti to adjust, an arrow pierced through its body.
From the side?!
But there wasn’t anyone there!
[Sound Wave Detection]
In the group of Elves, one of them did indeed maintain a posture of just having shot an arrow.
Did the arrow curve?
Lin Jun wanted to open the panel to check the opponent’s skills but it was too late!
The following two arrows ca whistling through the air, accurately hitting in succession...
The connection broke.
GA OVER!
[Subordinate Control] cannot be reconnected once severed.
Even if [Fungal Filant Reassembly] can revive this Puki, Lin Jun has lost control over it.
Not to ntion, the opponents likely won’t leave a complete corpse for Scout Puki Number Three.
Sigh...
Why so cautious?
Not satisfying Puki’s curiosity even a bit.
Sneaky, and what’s this [Frenzy], obviously not up to any good.
Fourth-layer Rift, Scout Puki Number Four jumped out from the rift, then drilled along the Fungal Mycelium Network, flying down again.
Not hoping to catch up with those Elves, being found would an getting taken out.
Better to find that [Frenzy] Tree Demon and see what’s really going on.

Sixth layer, beside the collapsed burning tree.
Seven Elves gathered around the still body of Scout Puki lying on the ground.
An Elf drew a Curved Saber, cutting open Puki, revealing the B Level Demon Crystal inside.
The leading Elf with a Longbow, face instantly darkened: "A modified Servant Demon! We’ve been exposed!"
