Matt Gray wanted to escape his current predicant as soon as possible.
This feeling of having two different thoughts in his mind at the sa ti...
It’s really unbearable!
The thoughts that originally belonged to him were telling him to get along well with the two people in front of him.
Whether it’s Ma Ran or Su Qiangwei, they’re both people of good character. If he could beco friends with them, perhaps he wouldn’t have to fight alone in the future.
At crucial monts, maybe these two would even travel from afar, crossing mountains and rivers to co to his aid.
However...
The cold and rciless divine thinking told him that — gods have no desires, they can have everything at a re thought.
That’s obviously nonsense!
As a "God" ability user, Matt Gray did indeed have a power called "Sabbath" in his domain, which allowed him to spontaneously combust three days after death, then revive completely unhard.
The cooldown ti for this power is three days.
In other words, Matt Gray might be the only man on Earth who could bathe in a hydrogen bomb and still not die.
But, the problem is...
The "God" ability doesn’t an true invincibility.
There are quite a few ways to bypass the "Sabbath" power and kill him.
Matt Gray controlled many powers, but he was far from omniscient and omnipotent.
The shadow of superpower erosion that followed him like an inseparable curse didn’t need much elaboration.
The cold shadow in his mind, like a parasite clinging to his bones, was impossible to shake off!
"What’s the price?"
Su Qiangwei didn’t hold back, speaking straightforwardly: "If you want us to treat you, what are you prepared to offer as a consultation fee?"
Friendship aside, Matt Gray was a good guy, but they weren’t lifelong friends, and their positions were different. Free treatnt? Not a chance!
Master Qiangwei would absolutely not agree!
Though she ntioned "we," including Ma Ran, she was really just saving face for her companion.
Ma Ran, with his Limited Foreknowledge ability, had high specialization and exclusivity. What did he know about healing and saving lives!
In such monts, wasn’t it her Myriad Transformations that had to be relied on?
"The consultation fee has already been paid."
Matt Gray covered his forehead, his expression sowhat complicated.
Sotis indifferent, sotis troubled, he looked like a patient who had just escaped from a ntal hospital: "It’s research and cultivation data on superpowers and fighting spirit, parts of which you might already know."
"But... I’m sure those materials could be of so help to you."
Su Qiangwei turned her head to look at Ma Ran: "Lie Detection shows that he’s telling the truth, the other side should be almost finished with the transaction."
The handover of materials would be handled by the presidents of various academic societies, so she and Ma Ran didn’t need to worry.
"Alright! I’ll treat you now!"
Su Qiangwei spoke, lifting her right hand.
With her words, a glowing white energy scalpel appeared in her right hand.
"Don’t dodge, this is a normal part of the treatnt process."
Matt Gray nodded seriously: "I know, you an no harm... Ugh!"
Looking at the scalpel stuck in his chest, he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said with a strange expression: "The treatnt process is not quite what I imagined."
"And moreover..."
"It doesn’t seem to have much effect."
"I feel like there’s still a cold, heartless, selfish emotion in my mind that’s controlling my... "
As he spoke, the luminous scalpel suddenly stabbed into his forehead, interrupting Matt Gray’s words.
As ti passed, the two scalpels slowly transford into white light spots, rging into his body, trying to heal the dead and damaged cells.
Unfortunately, all the cells in Matt Gray’s body were in their healthiest state.
So all this healing energy was wasted.
He sighed, pointing to the bodyguards outside: "Quite an impressive treatnt thod, but unfortunately it doesn’t work on ."
"I’ve done sothing to them."
"So..."
"Don’t worry about the treatnt being interrupted."
"Use any more shocking treatnt thods you might have!"
Su Qiangwei nodded.
Healing didn’t work, but there was still Expel Disease. Even if Expel Disease didn’t work, weren’t there other superpowers?
Try a few tis, and eventually, you might find the right solution!
However...
A few minutes later.
A spirited and confident Su Qiangwei, after trying a dozen superpowers without success, suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness.
"This isn’t a disease at all!"
Su Qiangwei gave a fair, rational, and objective judgnt: "Your superpower erosion phenonon, the side effect is ’dual personality,’ isn’t it?"
"The first personality is the kind Holy Mother."
"The second personality is the lofty, emotionless god."
"I might have a slim chance of eliminating the forr."
"Erasing the divine personality is very tricky!"
This was a self-deprecating way of explaining it.
At this, Su Qiangwei’s eyes flickered: "How about you let copy the ’God’ ability package?"
"Tailor the solution to the problem, right?"
"Maybe I’ll have a way to treat you then!"
Heh heh.
Matt Gray shook his head decisively.
He found this person quite interesting.
Even at a ti like this, she still had the mood for jokes.
He was a good person, not a fool.
In fact, Matt Gray had already felt this during the previous monts.
The "God" ability, unlike other National Guardian-level and S-level abilities, was highly exclusive.
Perhaps other top-level superpowers, when copied, wouldn’t be too severely affected, at most leaving one feeling upset and unbalanced.
But the "God" ability was different!
If he truly allowed Su Qiangwei to copy his ability, there would be two gods on Earth.
At that point, if God were no longer unique, his own power would be greatly diminished, significantly weakened!
All things considered, how could such an unreasonable request ever be agreed to?
"Very well, you’re hopeless, just wait to die, farewell!"
Su Qiangwei’s face turned dark, and she flipped her attitude instantly, turning to leave.
Before she could exit the visitor’s room, Ma Ran grabbed her.
"I can give it a try."
Ma Ran glanced at the visitor: "Next, you might experience a confusion of senses and ntal tearing."
"Don’t resist."
Matt Gray nodded slightly, his expression becoming serious: "I’ll do my best to cooperate with the treatnt."
"All those people who died because of , I have rembered their appearances."
"Although I disliked those people, they didn’t deserve to die."
"Thinking of the sins I’ve committed, I feel very troubled."
He sighed deeply, pausing for a mont before continuing: "Even though my codena is ’God,’ I am first and foremost an Earth human."
"If there cos a day when I truly and completely lose my humanity, I would rather choose death."
Ma Ran looked at him.
"Let’s begin the treatnt."
"Close your eyes."
Matt Gray obediently closed his eyes.
The next mont, he felt a dizzying, spinning sensation.
At that mont, in Matt Gray’s perception, the entire reception hall seed to be gripped by giant hands, uprooted from the ground, and shaken violently!
He opened his eyes abruptly and found the shaking had stopped.
His vision was pitch black.
He couldn’t see anything!
The surroundings were utterly silent!
He couldn’t even catch the sound of breathing or a heartbeat!
"What kind of thod is this?"
