Xia Jing was running on the road when she suddenly stopped. She realized that aimlessly searching like this was not a solution, so she filtered all the possible places Zhang Zhentian might go in her mind: At this hour, Zhentian wouldn’t possibly go to the lakeside, nor would he seek out Li Jiayuan, much less be at the places we often go to. With his mood so low today, he should be at the bar drowning his sorrows.
Xia Jing felt very clever, using the simplest thod of elimination to rule out all the places Zhang Zhentian might go. She believed she still understood Zhang Zhentian well. Xia Jing knew roughly where he might be, which made the search much easier. She ran for a while until she couldn’t run anymore, so she hailed a taxi by the roadside. She asked the driver to drive as fast as possible. This driver looked like he was in his fifties or sixties, with a kind face, very honest and trustworthy!
Ten minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of the nearest bar to Xia Jing’s House. Xia Jing imdiately gave the driver A Hundred Yuan. As the driver prepared to return the change, she opened the door and dashed into the bar.
Xia Jing searched the bar round and round, but she couldn’t find Zhang Zhentian anywhere. She asked at the counter and called Zhang Zhentian’s phone, but to no avail. Xia Jing left the bar, ready to search the next one. As she walked out, she saw the driver still waiting at the entrance, not having left. Xia Jing got back into the driver’s car, and seeing her like this, the driver playfully started talking to her.
"Hey, Miss, what’s wrong? Not in a good mood?" the driver asked Xia Jing.
Xia Jing didn’t know how to respond to the driver. She felt quite troubled inside. From the experiences she shared with Zhang Zhentian, she gradually realized that although Zhang Zhentian truly didn’t understand her, he genuinely loved her...
Seeing that Xia Jing didn’t answer, the driver kindly asked, "Did you have a fight with your boyfriend?"
The mont those words were spoken, Xia Jing was stunned. She turned to look at the driver, who glanced at her and said, "Why are you looking at like that? Did I say sothing wrong?"
