"I don’t know!" Old Master Zhang said to Zhang Zhentian, looking very sincere.
Zhang Zhentian felt rather fed up with Old Master Zhang’s response, and he said to his dad, "Dad, how can you keep saying you don’t know to such a simple question? My point is simple, as long as you agree, I can marry Xia Jing anyti. I think it’s really not right to keep delaying after being engaged to Xia Jing for so long, so I was wondering if we could hold the wedding next month? What do you think?"

"Zhentian, Dad has a question for you!" Old Master Zhang said cautiously.
Zhang Zhentian didn’t understand what his dad would need to ask him, so he stood there and said to Old Master Zhang, "Dad, what could possibly require you to personally ask ?"
Although Zhang Zhentian appeared to be smiling in front of Old Master Zhang, he was actually smiling outwardly but not genuinely happy. When he’s in a good mood, the words he speaks to Old Master Zhang are warm and pleasant, but if he’s in a bad mood, everything he says sounds sour. Never mind that Old Master Zhang is his biological father—as long as what Old Master Zhang says or does doesn’t align with Zhentian’s wishes, he’s quick to retort with harsh words!
"I want to ask where you plan to hold the wedding ceremony for Xia Jing." That wasn’t Old Master Zhang’s original question; he intended to ask: When you marry Xia Jing, when can I expect a grandson? But Old Master Zhang has so sense of awareness. If he heard a hint of displeasure in the way Zhang Zhentian answered, he’d quickly change his tone, not wishing to upset his son for any reason. Yet Zhentian hardly understood his father’s intentions!
Zhentian was instantly delighted when he realized Old Master Zhang’s question wasn’t about having children. He thought there wasn’t enough ti to enjoy the couple’s world with Xia Jing, and having children right after marriage felt like digging his own grave!
"Let’s do it at Stardust Legend!" Zhang Zhentian said and walked away. Old Master Zhang wanted to call out loudly to stop him and tell him that wasn’t the question he wanted to ask, but he felt he didn’t have the courage...
Ti flew by, and soon it was the day of Zhang Zhentian and Xia Jing’s wedding. Xia Jing was dressed in a white wedding gown, holding fresh flowers, looking as beautiful as Snow White from a fairy tale, while Zhang Zhentian was in a white wedding suit with a bow tie, standing at the other end of the red carpet, waiting for the bride’s arrival.
Everyone was curious about Xia Jing in her wedding dress. Before she arrived, people were gossiping, eager to sneak a peek at Old Master Zhang’s daughter-in-law from the rcenary background.
As Xia Jing slowly entered the wedding venue to the rhythm of the music, she walked briskly towards her white horse Prince at the other end. At that mont, all the eyes turned to Xia Jing. Among those attending the wedding, so sincerely wished them well, so were just there for the show, and so wanted to see the joke between Zhang Zhentian and Xia Jing; many were simply there to see what Xia Jing looked like! Quite a few hoped to compete for Zhang Zhentian’s affections, but none caught his eye.
The state of Zhang Zhentian’s wedding was this: Those jealous of Xia Jing said, "I thought Xia Jing, who won over Zhang Zhentian, would look much better, turns out she’s just like the rest of us..." Whereas those extending their blessings said, "Your bride is beautiful, make sure to cherish her..."

Zhang Zhentian glanced at those gossipy people several tis, wanting to rush over and throw a few punches, but each ti Xia Jing held him back, saying it wasn’t good to be physical on their wedding day. So Zhang Zhentian had to hold back; with Xia Jing saying so, what else could he do but comply?
