Li Jiayuan couldn’t help crying when she heard her father’s concern. Seeing his daughter cry, Li Haixiao felt even more distressed, and he stroked Li Jiayuan’s hair and asked, "Jiayuan, tell Daddy, who hit you?"
Li Jiayuan cried for a while and then said with a sob, "Dad, are you in business with soone nad Siao Qi?"
Li Haixiao was curious why Li Jiayuan was suddenly asking about this, as she had never been interested in such matters before.
"Yes, Siao Qi is arrogant and overbearing. He violates business rules in his dealings and engages in illegal procurent. How do you know him?" Li Haixiao asked.
"Dad, it was him who hit . He also said that I am as ruthless in my actions as you are, and today he even frad in the bar! And the bartender there dared to try and fool with counterfeit alcohol. When I called him out on it, he still wouldn’t admit to it..." Li Jiayuan said, feeling wronged.
Li Jiayuan saying this was enough to set Li Haixiao off; he wouldn’t rest until he had skinned these people alive.
After comforting Li Jiayuan for a while, Li Haixiao told her to go and rest.
Alone in his study, Li Haixiao muttered to himself, "Siao Qi, you really are sick of living, daring to hit Li Haixiao’s daughter. And that bar, you just wait to shut down for good!"
The next day, the sun rose slowly from the east, casting a warm glow on everyone, but for so, it felt like the end of the world because Li Haixiao was about to unleash his power!

Even before Li Haixiao began dealing with Siao Qi and the others, the streets were already buzzing with people discussing their death-wish actions.
Close to eleven o’clock, Li Haixiao called for a president’s conference at the company and formally announced the termination of all collaborations with Siao Qi, also investing in the acquisition of the bars under Guo Tao!
At the conference, Siao Qi was dissatisfied with Li Haixiao’s decision and asked, "President Li, may I ask if your abrupt proposal to terminate all collaboration with has anything to do with your daughter being beaten yesterday evening?"
When Siao Qi uttered these words, everyone at the board of directors eting turned to look at Li Haixiao. Siao Qi was too naive, thinking he could threaten Li Haixiao so easily.
After hearing Siao Qi’s words, Li Haixiao couldn’t help but say to him, "General Siao, whether or not last night’s incident occurred, I would have terminated our collaboration anyway. Don’t think for a second that your illegal procurent has been foolproof. There’s an old saying, ’Heaven’s net is wide and sparsely woven, yet nothing slips through.’ I’m not unaware of what you’ve done; I’ve just refrained from making it public out of respect for our respective reputations. But now that you’ve laid hands on my daughter, do you think I would still want to work with soone like you?"
The board mbers didn’t understand much, but they did grasp that Li Haixiao ntioned Siao Qi’s illegal procurent.
Li Haixiao saw that Siao Qi still wanted to speak in his own defense, and he turned to address the board mbers, "Ladies and gentlen, would you like to continue cooperating with soone who disregards business ethics? I believe anyone who truly has the company’s best interests at heart would absolutely not allow such a person to remain within their company. Please vote now on whether or not to continue our partnership with Siao Qi."
"Those in favor of continuing the partnership with Siao Qi, please raise your hands!" Li Haixiao asked the shareholders.
After discussing among themselves for a while, everyone lowered their heads, with not a single person raising a hand. In reality, they all understood that with Li Haixiao’s declaration, he intended to push out a portion of the shareholders to secure his position even more firmly.

Siao Qi, seeing that not a single mber of the board wanted to retain him, said to the directors, "If I must go, then go I shall. To think I actually valued a partnership with your type of corporation—what’s so great about it, huh..."

They all knew that anyone suddenly declared out of the ga, without even one person eager to retain them, would react similarly, so they completely understood Siao Qi’s feelings at that mont.
"Alright, I hereby declare the end of today’s shareholder eting. Thank you all for your cooperation!" Li Haixiao addressed the shareholders.
What more could these people say? Even though Li Haixiao had already made the decision, he still convened the shareholder eting. Even if so of them wanted to keep Siao Qi, they didn’t have the courage to do so, as no one is usually willing to sacrifice their own future to save soone else!
After the board eting concluded, Li Haixiao had his secretary find Guo Tao.
"Mr. Guo, our President Li has instructed to inform you, your bar has been acquired by him, so please imdiately collect your belongings and leave this place. From now on, this bar is owned by Li Corporation!"
"On what grounds are you doing this?"
"No grounds needed, except that President Li’s daughter was assaulted here, and you’ve also been selling fake liquor. Such an establishnt shouldn’t be allowed to operate!"
"What does Li Jiayuan getting hit have to do with ? She was asking for it with her foul mouth; otherwise, why would anyone hit her for no reason?" Guo Tao was livid as he lashed out at Li Haixiao’s secretary, "By what right does Li Haixiao claim he can just acquire what I’ve worked so hard to build?"
"That’s all there is to it. You decide what to do next. If by twelve noon today you haven’t moved out, I’ll have soone help you with the move!"
Li Haixiao’s secretary smirked at Guo Tao, then turned and left. Guo Tao seed to realize it all ca down to Li Jiayuan, and decided he should call her and ask.

"Out with it, why have you called ?" Jiayuan asked bluntly, knowing full well that Guo Tao was not one to visit without a good reason; his sudden outreach to her couldn’t be a good sign.
"Li Jiayuan, how could you do this? If you had a problem with , why didn’t you tell directly instead of having your dad take over my bar?" Guo Tao asked angrily.
Hearing this, Jiayuan couldn’t help but let out a sneer, and she retorted, "So, may I ask, why did you sell fake liquor? Don’t you realize that consuming counterfeit alcohol could cause problems? If you don’t even care about your company closing down, why do you care about being acquired?"
"Li Jiayuan, is this how you treat a situation? Don’t you rember the years we spent as classmates?"
"Classmate relations? Did you consider those when you sold fake liquor? If you really cared about our friendship, you wouldn’t have done that. So what’s the point of discussing our past now? Don’t you find your behavior laughable at this mont?" Jiayuan laughed without any sympathy, and her words left Guo Tao wanting to explode in anger yet unable to do anything but forcibly hold it in.
