Zhang Yichen and Ran Zhihan couldn’t simply stay at ho, worried. They rushed back to their place, knowing their grandfather had chosen to forgive them, they were truly overjoyed. In the end, they had received their grandfather’s forgiveness. If even their own grandfather didn’t forgive them, their hearts would be too tornted to bear.
When the couple returned ho, they saw their son training rcilessly as if nothing happened. Both of their eyes reddened, and their noses felt sore.

Ran Zhihan’s heart ached even more after hearing her son speak this way. All of this had nothing to do with her son, yet why should he endure such hardships? Would he always be unable to escape this fate? Her son had suffered so much. If his grandparents refused to return, how tornted his heart must be. Having paid such a heavy price, receiving no recompense in the end—how much would that hurt him?

How could Zhang Ni not know that his mother’s heart ached every ti he got hurt? No matter the reason, he could not give up on training. It wasn’t just a promise he once made, it was also a condition he had to fulfill to convince his grandparents. If he couldn’t even endure this bit of hardship, how could he persuade his grandparents to wholeheartedly return ho?
