Zhang Zhentian arrived at Stardust Legend, and he approached the boss to ask, "Boss, how much would it cost to book the venue for an entire evening?"
The owner of Stardust Legend looked at Zhang Zhentian wearing slightly outdated clothing, his face full of disdain as he said to Zhang Zhentian, "You, want to book my Stardust Legend? Little guy, stop trying to make laugh."
This owner was clearly the kind of person who judged others by their appearance. Seeing that Zhang Zhentian wasn’t dressed in famous brands, he wanted to humiliate him. However, when he realized that Zhang Zhentian’s identity was extraordinary, his previously arrogant fla would be extinguished. Of course, this would happen only when Zhang Zhentian appeared later in branded clothes.
"Boss, I’m here to book the place, just na your price!"
"Haha, you want to na a price? By the looks of you, you’re just soone with a re few tens of thousands. Can you even afford to book my venue?" the boss taunted.
"If there’s business, why not just do it? Why discriminate?" Zhang Zhentian earnestly advised.
"Young man, don’t bla for not telling you, this venue is not for soone like you. You can’t afford it. I only welco big shots here, but soone like you... tsk tsk tsk, look at how poor you are. Hurry on now, don’t embarrass yourself here." The boss of Stardust Legend still looked down on Zhang Zhentian with utter contempt.
"Heh, you look down on ? Do you know who I am?" Zhang Zhentian had never been looked down upon like this before, and in this mont, he felt his pride was wounded.
"I don’t care who you are. Can’t you understand what I’m saying?" the boss replied unenthusiastically.
"If I’m asking you to na a price, it ans I can definitely afford it. What’s the matter? Are you afraid to na your price? Or do you think your venue is not up to par?" Zhang Zhentian retorted sharply to the Stardust boss.
The boss sighed silently in his heart, feeling that he had given Zhang Zhentian enough face. He thought Zhang Zhentian was unappreciative and scoffed, "Fine, you want to set a price? Alright, it’s not much. If you want to book the venue, just bring out five million, and I’ll let you have it. How about that?"
Zhang Zhentian hadn’t expected the boss to demand such an exorbitant price right off the bat. He said to the boss, "Boss, do you really take for a fool? Who doesn’t know your place isn’t much better than others? It’s just in a good location and charges more than anywhere else. Are you trying to cheat with such tactics? Or do you think I can’t afford it and are deliberately trying to humiliate ?"
The boss felt that Zhang Zhentian had seen through his intentions, and he retorted angrily, "So what if I did it on purpose? If you can, show the money!"
"I’ll show it then!"
Zhang Zhentian fumbled in his pockets for a while, but he couldn’t find his bank card. He thought to himself: Damn, I was in such a hurry when I left the house that I forgot to bring it!
The boss noticed Zhang Zhentian fumbling in his pockets and still not producing anything, so he resud his mockery, "Oh, what’s this? Can’t bring it out? Since that’s the case, I won’t see you out. Take your ti leaving!"
After saying this, the boss even gestured with a "please" motion!
"You just wait!" Zhang Zhentian, fuming with anger, dropped these words and turned away!
"Hmph, I’ve seen plenty of poor kids like you!"
Zhang Zhentian ran back ho, boiling with rage, changed into a branded suit, and grabbed his bank card. He then headed back to Stardust Legend.
No sooner had he walked in than the boss ca over and said, "Esteed guest, please co inside!"
He didn’t realize yet that the young man before him was the sa poor kid he had just scorned.
"Boss, have you forgotten about already?" Zhang Zhentian said to the boss, barely able to contain his amusent.
The boss looked up and upon recognizing Zhang Zhentian, his attitude changed imdiately. "Well, I thought it was soone else. Isn’t this the sa poor young man from earlier? It seems my eyes deceived , how could I have mistaken you for a rich man?"
Zhang Zhentian smiled and replied, "What’s the matter, boss? Weren’t you just looking down on for my shabby clothes and thinking I was broke? Now that I’m dressed in designer wear, shouldn’t you be eager to reserve the venue for ?"
The boss found it amusing and suspected sothing was wrong with Zhang Zhentian’s head.
"Haha, young man, are you okay? Do you think that by changing into a brand-na suit and coming here, you’ve beco a big shot? No matter how you dress, you can’t change the poor stench that wafts out of your very bones!" The boss began to insult Zhang Zhentian without restraint.

As the boss spewed insult after insult, an acquaintance of Zhang Zhentian ca over and said, "Zhentian, long ti no see. I’ve heard your father has been running Zhang Corporation very well, and the profits have been continually rising!"
"Long ti no see. Zhang Corporation is my father’s company, not mine. If it’s doing well, it’s thanks to my father and the shareholders’ efforts," replied Zhang Zhentian politely.
The bystander boss learned of Zhang Zhentian’s true identity when he heard his friend ntion that Elder Zhang was running Zhang Corporation.
"Young Master Zhang, I’m sorry, I was blind not to recognize your importance. Please don’t take it to heart!" the boss suddenly interjected, drawing the attention of Zhang Zhentian’s friend.
"Zhentian, isn’t this Stella—the Stardust Boss? Did you two have a misunderstanding?"
"Don’t worry about it. When I have so ti, I’ll co to drink with you. I have important matters to attend to today, so I can’t stay and chat much longer!" With those words, Zhang Zhentian essentially said his farewells.
"All right, then I’ll be off. Let’s get together another ti when you’re free!"
No sooner had Zhang Zhentian’s friend left than the Stardust Boss started speaking to him: "Young Master Zhang, I didn’t do it on purpose, and you want to book the place, right? You can book it, and I’ll give you a 60% discount. What do you think?"
Zhang Zhentian wasn’t usually one to hold grudges, but today the boss had severely wounded his self-esteem. How could he let it slide so easily?
"Boss, what are you talking about? I’m just a poor kid, I don’t have that kind of money to book your venue. People like are just lowly servants, unworthy of even standing at the door of your bar, right, boss?" he said disdainfully.
"No, no, I didn’t realize you were President Zhang Mo’s son. I inadvertently offended you, please have rcy and forgive this indiscretion!"
Looking at the boss in this state, Zhang Zhentian couldn’t help but sigh: Is the world really so superficial? Is money truly all-powerful?
"Let tell you, don’t judge people by their appearance. The very person you look down upon today could be the god you cannot afford to provoke for the rest of your life! Everyone is equal, but you’ve categorized people into different statuses. Do you think having money is everything? Do you love money that much?" Zhang Zhentian challenged the boss.
The boss didn’t know what to say; he never expected the poor youth he had scorned to turn out to be a wealthy scion, catching him entirely off guard.
"It’s my fault, I will definitely change, rest assured."
"Rember your words, because if there’s a next ti, I won’t hesitate to ruin what you’ve worked so hard to build," Zhang Zhentian warned before walking away. Halfway through, he paused, rembering sothing, and ca back to say, "By the way, you ntioned that booking this place costs five million, right? If that’s the case, then just charge it to my card!"
The boss truly didn’t expect Zhang Zhentian to just walk away like that. He had been terrified for so long, yet in the end, the situation was resolved peacefully!
