Zhang Ni was shocked the mont he learned that his grandparents were planning to leave the house once again. He couldn’t believe his grandparents would do such a thing—leaving again and again. Why did they have to repeat their mistakes? Was it true that everyone in this family was nothing more than a tool to be used by them?
Zhang Ni saw his father still standing there. He could hardly believe it. The family was already in turmoil, yet his father continued as if nothing had happened. How could he continue like this without concern? Did his words really hurt his father so deeply that now he refused to care about the family anymore? Was it possible that his father truly no longer wanted to get involved, no matter what the family was going through?

You are their son. Things have already reached this point; no matter what, you should go back and see them. At the very least, you should try to persuade them to stay. Zhang Yichen truly hadn’t expected his son to say such things. He thought his son would at least carefully consider whether such actions were right or wrong. But now that his son had spoken so plainly, if he still chose not to go back, how could he justify it? Everything he’d done so far had been in hopes that they would stay in the household peacefully. Yet now, even with things ending like this, he realized the bla truly shouldn’t fall on his parents. Even if they hadn’t co back, perhaps this outco was destined all along. Why should they have to bear that guilt?
Zhang Yichen pondered for a mont and decided he should return to see his parents. If they insisted on leaving the house and no longer wanted to stay with him, he would have no more to say. But if he didn’t go to try and persuade them to stay, and they left never to co back, he knew he’d regret it for the rest of his life.
When Zhang Yichen returned ho, he saw his parents had already packed all their belongings and were ready to leave. In that mont, he suddenly didn’t know how to start the conversation. Should he say sothing? If he let this chance slip, would he regret it? If he just stood there silently, would they perhaps hesitate to leave so quickly? But deep down, he knew the answer wasn’t definite. He understood his parents’ personalities better than anyone else. He knew they absolutely wouldn’t just stay behind.
