"Is that you?" As soon as Sumr Shawcross walked in, a surprised voice echoed in the restaurant.
She turned her head in shock and noticed Flynn Hughes was also in the restaurant.
He was looking at Sumr with surprise, as he quickly recognized she was the girl who brought him lunch at the company entrance that day.
He had thought Noah Drexler’s taste might be different from his own normal preferences, but he didn’t expect Noah had pretty good taste.
At least when they first t at the company, he was indeed attracted to this girl he briefly encountered.
Especially... those pure, captivating eyes of hers.
While Flynn was staring at Sumr, a sharp voice suddenly resonated within the restaurant.
"Have you seen enough?" Noah Drexler frowned, glancing discontentedly at Flynn Hughes.
The way he looked at Sumr made him very unhappy!
Flynn quickly regained his senses, coughed, and as Sumr walked to the table, he suddenly stood up and bowed his head apologetically towards her, earnestly apologizing.
"I’m sorry, my impulsiveness yesterday caused you to misunderstand. I’m really sorry."
Sumr stopped in her tracks, bewildered by Flynn’s words.
"What are you talking about?"
She didn’t understand a word of what he was saying.
Seeing Sumr’s bewildered look, Flynn sighed, not knowing how to explain when Noah Drexler’s cold gaze swept over.
Startled, he hurriedly continued to explain.
"It’s like this, yesterday I didn’t know it was you on the phone, so I made a joke with the boss and said so things that misled you."
Upon hearing this, Sumr barely understood what he ant.
"You an the voice on the phone yesterday was yours?" she asked, puzzled.
"That’s exactly it." Relieved that she finally understood, Flynn smiled with comfort.
"Do you think I’m deaf or stupid?" Sumr looked at him with disdain.
He really thought she was foolish; the voice she heard on the phone yesterday was clearly a soft, feminine voice.
How could it be him, a man towering at over six feet?
She might be confused, but she could still tell the difference between a man and a woman!
Thinking this, she turned angrily to Noah Drexler.
"Noah, if you want to fool , at least find soone reliable, okay?"
It’s obvious that Flynn Hughes was here to fool her at Noah’s behest.
Seeing her angry expression, Noah Drexler frowned, glanced at Flynn Hughes, and displayed so anger himself.
"I’ll give you three more minutes, explain it clearly, or bear the consequences!" A cold warning rang out.
If he couldn’t dispel the doubts in Sumr’s heart today, he wouldn’t let him off easily!
Hearing Noah’s words, Flynn turned pale and quickly tried to explain.
"Don’t worry... I’ll show you right now."
Speaking, he coughed a few tis and drank so water to clear his throat.
Sumr looked at him curiously, wanting to see what trick he was going to play this ti.
After putting down the water glass, Flynn slowly began to speak.
"Mr. Drexler, you’re so bad, talking to another woman while being with soone else!"
A soft, feminine voice erged.
