She paused, then turned her head to see Noah Drexler sitting on the sofa, expressionless as he looked at the docunt on his laptop.
The serious expression on his face reminded Sumr Shawcross of the incident yesterday that had displeased him, making her heart tighten.
His voice just now was so cold; was he still angry?
"Noah Drexler... this bracelet..." After a mont, she raised her left hand, wearing the bracelet, with curiosity.
How did this thing end up in her hand?
Faced with her confusion, Noah Drexler’s expression didn’t change much, he just pressed his thin lips and calmly said,
"I’m entrusting it to you for safekeeping. Don’t take it off."
Upon hearing this, Sumr Shawcross was speechless.

Unhappy with his answer, Sumr Shawcross quickly added.
"That’s not what I ant. I an, is there a story behind it with you? Is it related to soone?"
After asking the question, she looked at him attentively.
Noah Drexler’s long fingers paused on the keyboard, his eyes dimming slightly.
After a mont of silence, he pressed his lips again and softly said,
"These are things better left unknown."
"..." Seeing he was unwilling to say more, Sumr Shawcross couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed, lowering her head to look at the bracelet on her wrist, then she pursed her lips and sighed.
She didn’t know if he was still upset with her for the incident last night when she nearly sold him out to Wendy Linden during a bet, or if he genuinely didn’t want to share those matters with her.
Her soft sigh reached Noah Drexler’s ears, causing him to frown slightly as he glanced sideways at her.
Seeing her face full of disappointnt, a trace of helplessness flashed across his charming face.

"Do you care a lot?"
"Hmm..." Sumr Shawcross nodded earnestly.
Though she didn’t know him well enough yet, there was one thing she was certain of.
That is, Noah Drexler would not personally co to Zephyria just for a rare or extrely valuable woman’s bracelet.
