Sumr Shawcross reached out to peel away the layers of muddy plastic film, revealing a rusty iron box inside.
"Let’s go back." She held the box preciously, stood up, and looked at Noah Drexler as she spoke.
But Noah Drexler remained silent, simply lowering his gaze to her legs marked with red scratches from the grass, his expression darkening.
Seeing him not responding, Sumr Shawcross wasn’t too surprised, as he hadn’t forgiven her yet.
So, holding the box and using an umbrella, she turned to leave.
Just as she was about to step away, the man suddenly tossed aside the umbrella and reached out to grab her wrist.
She paused, just about to turn her head to look at Noah Drexler when he suddenly bent down and lifted her horizontally from the grass.
Sumr Shawcross was startled, dropping the umbrella from her hands, but quickly tightened her grip on the iron box.
By the ti she had reacted, Noah Drexler was already carrying her, striding quickly towards the outside.
"Noah..."
Just as she looked up in surprise about to say sothing, the man’s discontented voice interrupted her.
"Shut up!"
"..." She was stunned and hurriedly shut her mouth.

Soon, Noah Drexler carried her to the gate, opened the passenger side door, stuffed her in, and then forcefully closed the door. He quickly walked to the other side, opened the door, and sat in the driver’s seat.
Sumr Shawcross glanced around the car, feeling a bit surprised. Usually, when the two of them were in the car, there would at least be a driver, but today it was just the two of them.
She seed to have never seen Noah Drexler drive by himself.
In these rare monts of being alone, Sumr Shawcross wasn’t willing to give up.
"Noah Drexler, I have sothing to say to you..." Just as Noah Drexler was about to step on the accelerator, she quickly spoke up.
After she finished speaking, Noah Drexler paused his motion to start the car.
"Speak." He said, pressing his lips together.
"About that day, I was really in the wrong, I’ve recognized my mistake and it won’t happen again." Sumr Shawcross turned to look at him, speaking earnestly.
"Which day?" Noah Drexler frowned and asked in a low voice.
In the past few days, there had been more than one or two things that annoyed him.
"It’s about... the bet with Wendy Linden..." She spoke cautiously, afraid of angering him again.
Sure enough, when she brought up that matter again, the man’s expression darkened a few shades.
Seeing this, Sumr Shawcross quickly promised.
"Seriously, I’m sincerely apologizing to you." She opened her glistening eyes wide, looking at him earnestly. As she spoke, she handed the iron box in her arms to him.
"To show my sincerity, this is for you!"
Looking at the rusty iron box in her hands, Noah Drexler frowned.
Sumr Shawcross thought he was rejecting it and quickly explained.
"Inside are my most cherished items, things I’d rather lose my life than lose. If I make such mistakes again, you can destroy it."
Although the box was rusty, its contents were her treasures.
These items were hidden away when The Shawcross Family went bankrupt and her grandfather passed away. She was worried they’d be taken away, so she buried them there. Even when she and her brother were pressed to the brink by creditors, she couldn’t bear to sell them for so money.
As her words fell, the man’s eyes deepened, his gaze narrowing thoughtfully.
