Just then, the sound of two gentle knocks suddenly rang out.
"Madam, the porridge is ready," ca Sean Morgan’s voice from outside the door.
"Just leave it at the door," Sumr Shawcross turned her head, glanced at the man holding her from behind, and then continued speaking.
"Okay," Sean Morgan replied, then gently pushed open the bedroom door, placing the tray with porridge inside, and softly closed the door, leaving just a sliver of light to shine in from outside...
Sumr paused for a mont, then reached out to try to move the hand resting on her waist.
But when her hand touched his, she clearly felt so... uneven scars.
She was montarily stunned and then rembered when he grabbed her wrist earlier, she felt that his palm was sowhat damp... Now it seed that both the palm and the back of his hand were injured?
Just as Sumr felt a pang in her heart, the man behind her suddenly released his hand from around her waist.
Although she was concerned, she said nothing, and slowly began to walk towards the door.
She stopped at the door, picked up the porridge from the tray, and then, with the help of the dim light in the room, leisurely walked over towards Noah Drexler.
In the faint light, she saw Noah Drexler sitting on the carpet, leaning against the sofa, his breathing still sowhat heavy.
"Noah, have so porridge," Sumr sat down beside him, holding the porridge, and said softly.
"I don’t need it, just leave," Noah Drexler responded with a hoarse voice, moving his throat slightly.
She didn’t realize how frightening he could beco now. If she truly saw him completely lose control, she might despise him even more than before!
Seeing that he was still trying to send her away, Sumr felt a bit helpless, but remained calm.
"I’ll feed you," she pretended not to hear him, taking the spoon, blowing on it, and then bringing it to his lips.
"It’s a bit hot, but I’ve blown on it, you should be able to eat it, try it," she said gently.
"I don’t need it," Noah Drexler said coldly, refusing to open his mouth to drink the porridge.

She sighed helplessly and continued speaking.
"Stop being picky, you haven’t eaten anything in days, have so porridge to settle your stomach."
Yet the man still showed no intention of drinking the porridge.
"If you don’t leave, you’ll regret it," Noah Drexler took a deep breath and said, suppressing his emotions.
As soon as his words fell, Sumr’s unwavering voice rang out.
"I won’t!"
"..." In the darkness, the man’s gaze showed a hint of surprise.
"Noah, you won’t hurt ," Sumr looked at him with a serious face, speaking with utter conviction.
Noah Drexler fell silent, and the bedroom beca extrely quiet.
Having been locked in dark places for months, Noah could see her serious and determined expression on her small face clearly... His gaze was firmly fixed on her face.
Inside, he was once again deeply moved.
Because even he couldn’t be sure he wouldn’t hurt her...
But she was unwavering in saying he wouldn’t harm her...
