"By the way, the butler asked to tell you sothing."
Sean Morgan’s words made Sumr Shawcross show a curious expression.
"What is it?"
"She said..." Sean began, suddenly bowing his head towards Sumr, then spoke with seriousness and respect.
"Thank you for being willing to stay by the boss’s side!"
This was sothing he also wanted to say to her.
Because he knew that Sumr Shawcross’s presence alone was more useful than all of theirs combined.
Sumr was taken aback, surprised, as Noah Drexler was usually tight-lipped and solely focused on gains, never resorting to sches to win over people’s hearts. Yet, one by one, his subordinates and those around him were all incredibly loyal to him.
She thought, this must be part of his personal charm.
"He’s my husband; there’s no need for you to thank . If thanks are owed...it’s who should thank you!" She smiled and suddenly turned to look at Sean Morgan.
"Thank you for accompanying Noah Drexler all these years!"
Because she suddenly couldn’t imagine how Noah Drexler had managed before.
His father, Mr. Drexler, committed so many heartless and ruthless acts against him, and over the years, he had no family or friends by his side.
But fortunately, thinking about having people like Sean and the butler, who wholeheartedly supported him, her heart felt much more at ease.
After Sumr finished speaking, Sean paused, looking sowhat surprised...

When Sumr finished taking inventory on the first floor, the sky outside had already darkened. Though it had rained heavily just after midnight, tonight there were already a few stars appearing.
Returning to the bedroom on the second floor, she discovered that the lights in the room were unexpectedly on.
The once chaotic room had clearly been tidied up, and the broken items on the floor had all vanished.
What concerned her more was that Noah Drexler, who was supposed to be resting on the bed, was nowhere to be found.
Seeing this, her heart tightened, and she imdiately began to worry.
While she wasn’t here, could he have...had another episode?
Thinking of this, Sumr’s face turned pale, and just as she was about to turn and search for Noah, the bathroom door suddenly opened from the inside.
Hearing the sound, she stopped in her tracks, looking towards the bathroom in surprise.
The man, clearly having just showered, was now dressed in a clean white shirt, his long legs encased in black trousers, approaching her.
She lifted her head, her gaze landing on his face.
Seeing that long-missed handso face, her heartbeat inexplicably quickened.
She stood there, lost in thought as she gazed at his face.
After so long ’apart’, he seed a bit thinner...but the sharp, cold aura he exuded remained unchanged.
The bridge of Sumr’s nose felt warm.
However, his current appearance differed from what she had imagined; the stubble she had felt on his face before was now gone.
As he drew closer, Sumr could sll the faint, fresh scent of soap and herbs from him...
Stopping in front of her, Noah Drexler made Sumr involuntarily open her mouth and curiously ask him.
"Why did you turn the lights back on?"
Isn’t he worried now that she might see him when the virus flares up...
Noah Drexler’s gaze deepened, his eyes drifting montarily to the few bruises on her knees before he spoke lightly.
