Morning.
Noah Drexler returned with Sumr Shawcross from the firefly protection base. As soon as they entered the door, she went upstairs and returned to her bedroom.
When she got back to the bedroom, she noticed so commotion coming from the wardrobe connected to the bedroom.
She walked over to take a look and found two servants packing luggage.
Seeing this, she couldn’t help but ask in confusion.
"What are you doing?"
The two servants were taken aback, then politely replied.
"Madam, the butler instructed us to help you pack for the trip the day after tomorrow..."
After the servant spoke, Sumr’s expression changed.
"No need, you can all leave!" She bit her lip and instructed directly.
Upon hearing her, the two servants looked puzzled.
"Then the day after tomorrow..."
Sumr walked over silently, took out the clothes from the suitcase, and stuffed them back into the wardrobe.
The two servants exchanged glances and reluctantly turned to leave, but just as they reached the bedroom door, they ran into Noah Drexler, who was about to co in.
"Sir, Madam won’t let us pack the luggage..." the servant said with a helpless expression.
Hearing the servant’s words, he frowned slightly and waved his hand.
"No need to pack, you can go downstairs."
The servants nodded and turned to leave.
Noah Drexler stepped into the bedroom and walked directly toward the wardrobe.
When he reached the wardrobe, Sumr was standing in front of the closet, putting the clothes back one by one.
Seeing him co in, she turned her head to glance at him, then nonchalantly continued organizing the clothes.
Noah Drexler looked at her for a mont, then suddenly said as he opened his mouth.
"If you don’t want to take these clothes, then don’t take them."
There would be soone to prepare everything for her in advance.
At his words, Sumr paused, holding the clothes.
The next second, she tossed the clothes back into the suitcase, then walked towards him, stopping in front of him, raising her head, and looked at him earnestly, saying.
"Noah Drexler, I don’t want to go!"
Even though she’d said this several tis already today.
Seeing her stubborn look, Noah Drexler paused for a mont, then his expression turned serious.
"Sumr, this ti it’s not up to you."
Even if she didn’t want to leave, he would make sure she did.
This ti, he wouldn’t let her have her way.
His firm words fell, and Sumr’s heart tightened.
It was clear that he was determined to send her away this ti.
She stood frozen, her mood turning incredibly bitter.
Her nose inexplicably felt a bit sour; she stared at him with big, aggrieved eyes.
Her miserably aggrieved look made Noah Drexler’s expression change slightly, his handso face showing a hint of frustration.
The next mont, he averted his gaze and turned away.
"I have sothing to do outside, take a good rest at ho these days."
After speaking, he turned to leave.
Footsteps followed closely behind, and then... a pair of slender, soft arms wrapped around his waist.
His body stiffened... slowly lowering his eyes, he looked at the hands clasped around his waist.
His dark eyes were filled with complex emotions.
Then, a soft, aggrieved voice gently sounded behind him.
"Noah Drexler, please don’t make leave, okay..."
